Benjamin grinned, realizing his cooking was indeed pretty good. He agreed to teach Ava when he had the time.
After dinner, Ava took on the dishwashing duty. When she finished, she found that Benjamin had already showered and gone to his room.
She took her time with a hot shower, thinking about Benjamin's actions on Lover's Street earlier, especially when he made that rude woman apologize. It really touched her.

After her shower, Ava went back to her room. The rain was still pounding against the window, showing no signs of stopping.
Suddenly, a bright flash of lightning followed by a loud thunderclap scared her, and she dove under the covers. But it was hot under there, and she started sweating.
Benjamin had a habit of sleeping naked, so after doing his usual two hundred push-ups and one hundred sit-ups, he lay down on the bed. Just as he was about to drift off, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" Benjamin knew it was Ava, so he quickly pulled the blanket over himself. The door wasn't locked, and after getting his okay, Ava slowly turned the knob and pushed the door open.
