As Renjiro's very first 4-Star Genshin weapon, the Warrior's Spear might come with several usage restrictions, but its growth ceiling was undeniably top-tier.
First of all, its base ATK stat ranked second among 4-Star polearms, only slightly below the Wavebreaker's Fin.
However, the latter's secondary stat, ATK%, was laughably weak, barely half of what the Warrior's Spear provided.
Not to mention its unique passive, "Millennial Movement", which increased ATK and CRIT Rate depending on how many Liyue characters were present in the team.
Of course, Wavebreaker's Fin had its own strengths, especially in amplifying Elemental Burst damage.
But… they didn't have that weapon right now anyway.
So, overall,
"Even though the passive caps at four stacks, my Genshin Descent magic isn't limited like the game version. My available character slots are not capped at four."
"As long as I summon one more Liyue character in the future, I'll be able to maintain full passive stacks on this spear indefinitely."
"Even if I can't keep many avatars physically manifested due to mana consumption, I can still maintain the effect through 'backline slot presence'."
Currently, the Liyue avatars Renjiro had access to were: Xiao, Xingqiu, and Ningguang.
With a Refinement Rank 1 Warrior's Spear, that meant:
+21% ATK
+9% CRIT Rate
Add that to the weapon's Lv.40 stats:
226 Base ATK
+15.5% ATK secondary
The total buff was something even a Refinement Rank 5 White Tassel couldn't compete with.
Sure, White Tassel increased Normal Attack Damage, but Xiao hardly used Normal Attacks.
Most of his techniques simply did not benefit from that passive.
Unfortunately,
"…I'm totally out of magic stones."
Renjiro once again felt the pain he knew very well from playing Genshin before transmigrating the pain of wasting Enhancement Ore early, only to regret having nothing when a good weapon finally dropped.
Thankfully, Orario was unlike Teyvat, here, one could simply dive into the Dungeon and grind magic stones infinitely.
"So what are we waiting for?"
Renjiro (Aether) rubbed his hands together, while Lumine flashed the same 'Outlander #2' gremlin grin.
"Hehehe~ Tremble, worthless mobs."
"Let us show you what true Liyue grind efficiency looks like, even Master Keqing herself would kneel before our farming."
That night, the Deep Floors, especially Floor 37, were unusually noisy.
=========
In truth, considering their last accidental trip to Floor 37 during Loki Familia's expedition, even a squad containing multiple First-Class Adventurers couldn't hold the line for long in the 'Endless Chalice' Arena.
After rescuing some people, they had to immediately retreat.
So this time, Renjiro had zero intention of diving straight in.
The plan was simple:
Raise the Traveler Twins and at least three Genshin avatars to a comfortable level first, then challenge the Arena.
Meanwhile, they could farm magic stones for leveling the Warrior's Spear.
Of course,
Raising a Genshin character from Lv.20 → Lv.40 required nearly 580,000 EXP, almost five times the EXP needed to reach Lv.20 in the first place.
This was not something that could be done overnight.
Additionally, Starry Abyss only provided full mana regeneration at night, meaning during the daytime Renjiro could only sustain one avatar on field.
Their combat power would drop drastically.
==========
Early the next morning, roughly two hours after night faded, Renjiro (Aether), whose mana was nearly spent, teleported back with Lumine to the top of Babel Tower.
After nearly five hours of uninterrupted monster grinding:
Traveler Twins, Lv.24
Xiao, Lv.24
Diona, Lv.24
Ningguang, Lv.24
Xingqiu, Lv.23
Remaining avatars, Lv.21 (benched to avoid splitting EXP)
==========
The largest proGareth, unsurprisingly, came from the Warrior's Spear.
Renjiro had spent all the newly-acquired magic stones to raise the weapon to Lv.32.
And for Xiao, a Lv.32 Warrior's Spear already outperformed a Lv.40 White Tassel, by a large margin.
It was a massive upgrade.
During this time, Renjiro also noticed something else:
His total Genshin Descent duration had increased again.
And because his mana purity improved alongside his Falna level, he now only needed ×9 Starry Abyss efficiency to maintain one avatar permanently manifested.
Meaning, in the future, If he kept improving his Falna and specializing in mana. It was entirely possible that one day, he could sustain multiple avatars permanently, even without relying on Starry Abyss at all.
But for now,
"Big sis Freya is still asleep? That's rare."
Seeing how quiet the top floor was, Renjiro stepped softly, thinking:
Looks like last night's celebration ran pretty late… better not disturb her.
Just an ordinary human body in the end, she needs proper rest.
Exchanging a glance with Lumine, they quietly slipped out.
Today, during daylight, he planned to follow Freya's earlier advice and visit the Guild.
This was where the benefit of having teleport anchors truly shone.
At his current strength, grinding in the Deep Floors was far more efficient than hunting in the upper layers.
For other adventurers, reaching Floor 37 required three to five days round-trip.
Renjiro, meanwhile:
Teleport.
Farm.
Teleport back.
As casually as visiting his backyard.
Unfortunately, grinding in the Deep Floors still required at least a four-man party to stay stable.
Otherwise,
Renjiro would probably never come back out.
Not until everyone hit max level.
Heh. Wouldn't that be something.
"Well, once I (Aether) and Lumine reach Lv.30+, we still won't be able to freely roam the Colosseum… but at least we'll be able to farm monsters in Floor 37 during daytime too."
Thinking idly like this, Renjiro (Aether) and Lumine arrived together before the Guild's front gates.
