Jason showered in his own sweat, heavy breathing with the support of his widened eyes, changed his face into a portrait of a horrified child of men
"What's wrong?" asked Miyo faking that worried face of hers
"I think I had a nightmare" replied Jason trying to calm himself down
"Nightmare? What was it about" she said holding his face tight and in place, checking his pupils in secret
"I… don't remember actually" replied Jason making Miyo shift her gaze from the eyes to the person "I think I was walking a cold forest"
"A forest? Does it have to do with the camp you were held at?" asked Miyo removing her hands from his face
Rubbing the skin she almost ripped out Jason replied "I guess so" he stared beside her to find his necklace of wood laid on the floor, it had a bit of blood on it
"That's my necklace" said Jason pointing its way
"Oh yeah, you held onto it so tightly" said Miyo handing it over it him "Seeing the blood I decided it was safer to take it from you"
He quietly slipped it around his neck. Feeling thirsty he glanced in the pot's direction, the one with the weird sleeping Herbs
Noticing his interest Miyo asked "You want some more? Here give me that bowl" she then proceeded to take it and went towards the pot
"Let me warm it up first" said Miyo picking it up and aiming towards the fire, she then proceeded to bump her legs pouring the soup all over the ground
"Oh no, how clumsy of me" Miyo said covering the poured with dirt "I will go and prepare more, just wait here" leaving the place, her face changed instantly
"I guess he does not have it" she said to herself
Jason sat by himself staring the dirt, feeling cold his hand instinctively attempted to go closer towards the fire, but fear clawed it pulling him away
His eyes went around the space scanning the surroundings. With how lonely he was, Jason sighed leaning down and staring the ceiling
Deep inside the same forest, back at their minor camp, Doryon came to the hostages wanting to hand over the daily meal
Passing by the guards, his gaze was locked on the little house before him, no windows, no source of light to who ever is inside, and a single d entrance on the front
Once he reached the door, some murmuring sounds slipped through the cracks. Unable to understand and distinguish the different voices
He placed the food away and put his hand on the lock opening it quietly. Without any warnings he slammed it open hitting a hard object half way through
It was not his intention to hit the one who stood ready by the side, but it worked in his favour.
"Hmm!" a man with his mouth covered shouted to the one who was trying to cut off the rest of the ropes, without thinking the already free rushed towards Doryon with light blinding him on the way
Seeing the man's right hand attempting a stab with a wooden shard, the boy got serious in an instant, slipping his left through hitting the wrest on the way and unarming the man
Doryon grabbed onto the back of his neck pulling him whilst kicking his stomach. That knee hit forced the man to hug the ground rendering him powerless
A shadow covered the boy, it was the other man holding a rock above his head, his intent was to strike him down, but seeing how young he is the man was hesitant
"You… are a child?!" said the man
The on the ground shouted "What are you waiting for!" forcing his friend to follow through with the orders
Doryon wasted no time in defending himself, he dashed head on towards the stomach pushing the attack away once more
Using his leg the boy forced the man down on his back and continued with a punch to the centre of the face
He heard the rock being dragged from behind, the other one that was hit collected all strength and stood in a broken poster, trying to raise it up
Ooof!
Doryon used his feet to kick upwards and between the legs, the poor man's eyes were about to leave their place from the shock, he held his parts falling knees first
Directing and pushing the man on top of his friend, Doryon placed his knee holding them tight together
The guards were standing by the open door, shocked and amazed at the same time
Doryon stared back at them and said "Mind to help?"
Getting a sense of reality from those words one of the said "Oh yeah sorry" taking himself inside and holding one of them tight
As both him and Doryon forced the two men to stand straight with their hands pushed on the backs the guard spoke "That was amazing, like truly magnificent"
"It is nothing much, just the basics" replied Doryon
"I know you," said the second guard following inside "Your one of Ramo's students, right?"
The second one replied in Doryon's steed staying "Is this not proof enough for you? you know that guy can only make warriors"
"I am not that good. There are more skilled people around me" said Doryon feeling embarrassed whilst handing over the hostage to the second guard
"Wait aren't you an archer?" asked the guard in front of him, the hostage he had was the hesitant one, the poor merchant was traumatized
"Yeh I am" replied Doryon
"Why so? I bet you'd fit perfectly in the front lines, make a name for yourself" replied the guard taking the merchant hostage out
Closing the door behind him Doryon said "I just feel better in the safe zone. I am not that good with my hands it is just that they are mere merchants"
"You do you mate" said the second following his mate with the hostage in hand
"Where are you taking them?" asked Doryon
"Ramo told us to inform him of any variables" replied the second guard as they left Doryon behind
Doryon waved at them with a smile saying "Good luck!" but his facial features started to pale down once they got far enough
Staring his shaking hands, his lips trembled atop one another, he was… afraid. The poor boy clenched his fist tight fighting his own emotions, and with some deep breaths he walked it off
