Chapter 104 - Chapter 104 – Geed

"That monster…"

Yu Zhou leapt onto the greenery strip, sizing up the creature chasing the fleeing crowd behind him.

"It's Skull Gomora!" he realized after a moment.

The fusion of Red King and Gomora, also called Skeleton Gomora.

"Never mind whether it's Skull Gomora or Skeleton Gomora… if this is the monster appearing here, then this world should be…"

Before he could finish analyzing, a flash of purple light appeared before Skull Gomora, solidifying into an Ultraman with silver, red, and black armor.

The Ultraman's eyes were sharp and azure, giving off a fierce impression.

"Of course… it's Geed."

Yu Zhou immediately recognized the newcomer.

Geed Ultraman, created using Belial's genes—essentially Belial's "son."

"Filial Ultraman!"

Though he was Belial's son, Geed was a righteous young hero, constantly opposing Belial and ultimately defeating him in the name of justice. Truly a filial son.

"Not sure if this world's Geed shares the same continuity as the Ultraman Galaxy Legend world I visited," Yu Zhou mused.

If it were the same world, then Belial, as in the original story, would have survived and resurrected.

Seeing Geed appear, Yu Zhou sheathed his light stick, not intending to intervene—this was Geed's first battle, after all.

The fleeing citizens froze, staring at the giant defending them, their expressions a mix of awe and fear.

"I've seen those eyes somewhere…"

"Yeah, isn't that Belial from the IMPACT Crisis?"

"Could it really be him?"

The crowd whispered among themselves.

During the IMPACT Crisis—something Yu Zhou had learned about while watching Geed Ultraman—Belial, resurrected for the nth time, arrived in this world. The Ultra Guard pursued him, but Belial detonated a planet-scale bomb, destroying the universe itself.

Then, Ultraman King merged with the remnants of the universe to restore it. That was the IMPACT Crisis.

Yu Zhou, however, thought Belial was foolish.

"He had a bomb powerful enough to destroy the universe… but why not use it on the Land of Light?" he muttered. "If he hated the Land of Light, why bomb this universe instead?"

Meanwhile, Geed, standing before the monster, seemed unfamiliar with his own body, inspecting and testing his movements.

Skull Gomora slowly approached Geed.

Geed sprinted a short distance, leapt, and stomped the pavement, sending nearby vehicles flying.

Landing before the monster, he stomped again, sending cement fragments scattering. If Gaia the Earth Destroyer were here, he'd probably give Geed a passing grade.

Geed grabbed Skull Gomora's head, attempting to slam it down—but with little experience, he failed, and the monster shoved him away.

Boom! Geed collided with a building, which crumbled under his impact.

"My house… I haven't even finished paying the mortgage!" a nearby man groaned, collapsing in despair.

Yu Zhou shook his head. "When gods fight, mortals suffer."

Whenever a monster appeared on Earth, the resulting battles with Ultramen often caused massive destruction. Collapsing a building was considered minor damage compared to the potential devastation of an unchecked monster.

Geed got up, lifting some rubble, a puzzled expression on his face.

"Is it because he's still getting used to his powers?" Yu Zhou muttered.

Before Yu Zhou could ponder further, Skull Gomora charged. Geed reacted, rushing to meet it.

He grabbed the monster's waist, pushing forward, but Skull Gomora remained unmoved. A swipe of its claw sent Geed flying into a river.

Soaked, Geed got up, only for Skull Gomora to swipe at him again. He dodged and countered with a kick to its head, then a double-foot strike to its abdomen, forcing the monster back a few steps.

Landing back in the river, Geed rolled to evade a crushing stomp.

"This giant doesn't seem to be able to beat this monster," the crowd whispered.

"Yeah, it's been on the back foot the entire fight."

"And the monster doesn't even seem hurt!"

Worry spread among the spectators. If this sudden giant couldn't stop the monster, it might rampage through the city indefinitely.

Skull Gomora swiped again, sending Geed crashing back into the river. Undeterred, he leapt onto its back.

The monster shook, easily tossing him off. Its crimson horns emitted yellow lightning as it rammed Geed.

"That must be Skull Gomora's vibration wave," Yu Zhou analyzed silently.

Gomora's ultimate attack was the Super Vibration Wave. After fusing with Red King, Skull Gomora's vibration attack was several times stronger.

Hit by the attack, yellow lightning coursed over Geed as he was thrown backward, flattening another building.

"My home!" another man collapsed, joining the first in despair.

Despite the punishment, Geed rolled to recover. Skull Gomora ignored him, advancing toward the crowd.

"That must be the Little Star," Yu Zhou realized. In the crowd, a girl possessed an Ultra Capsule, granting her the Little Star power to control flames.

Geed had fused Belial's and the First Ultraman's capsules using the Fusion Rise, regaining his true form.

The girl likely carried Leo Ultraman's capsule.

Geed rose from the river, stood for a moment, then seemed to remember something. With a leap, he blocked Skull Gomora's advance again.
