Whoosh!
Kagura pulled out the Dark Ring and inserted a card into it.
"Zeton-san!"
A spectral image of Zeton appeared to Kagura's left.
"Ponton-san!"
Next, Kagura inserted the Ponton card, and a spectral Ponton appeared to the right.
"Lend me the power of darkness!"
"Super Fusion! Zhe-Ponton!"
The fusion of the two monsters and Kagura materialized on the battlefield.
Orb, rising from the ground, watched warily as this new creature slowly approached.
Orb's attention shifted between the Imperial Alien, the Hippolyt Alien, Sadis, and now this mysterious new monster. Unsure of its intentions, he paused.
X was about to intervene when the fused monster spoke.
"Move aside—out of my way!"
"Kagura?!" Orb immediately realized—the monster was Kagura!
And judging by his tone, Kagura didn't intend to fight Orb. In fact, he seemed ready to help against the Imperial Alien, Hippolyt Alien, and Sadis.
On the ground, Naomi smiled faintly. Kagura really was a good guy, just like Yu Zhou said.
Obediently, Orb stepped aside, and X paused in his attempt to aid him.
With the path clear, a surge of purple light erupted from Zhe-Ponton's mouth. Three beams shot toward the enemies before him.
Boom!
The three aliens hadn't expected this new monster to be hostile and were completely unprepared. The attack struck them directly.
Smoke and flames rose from the explosions.
Yu Zhou shook his head—so much smoke, the attack was probably ineffective.
As expected, when the smoke cleared, all three aliens emerged unscathed, furiously fanning away flames.
"Ga-Ku-Ra!" Orb called, stepping beside Zhe-Ponton, hands raised in battle stance.
"The one to defeat you will be me!" Kagura said proudly to Orb, then turned to the three aliens. "How dare these fools get in my way!"
Yu Zhou watched this theatrically charged exchange and couldn't help but mentally wish them happiness, joking about "wedded bliss" and children.
But he quickly shook his head. There were bigger priorities: taking down the monsters before him.
The Imperial and Hippolyt aliens fired their beams at Zhe-Ponton. Kagura raised a shield, absorbing the attacks and reflecting them back.
Boom!
The two aliens were blown away by their own attacks.
Orb, in Dark Riser form, fired a crimson beam at Sadis, hitting him squarely.
Boom!
Flames exploded, and Sadis shattered into pieces, scattering across the ground.
"X, grab its arm!"
Yu Zhou and X were still struggling against Diaborigu, which relentlessly fired projectiles to keep them at bay.
After slamming Diaborigu's head with the Ultimate Light Pan and halting its gunfire, Yu Zhou shouted to X.
"Got it!"
X grabbed Diaborigu's arm—specifically, its cannon-equipped mechanical limb.
"Sever it!"
Yu Zhou raised the Ultimate Light Pan vertically and swung it down like a blade.
Crack!
A metallic snap echoed as Diaborigu's arm was severed, sparks flying.
"Incredible!" X praised Yu Zhou, astonished.
Even with Virtual Gomora armor, X couldn't sever Diaborigu's arm—just a few sparks at most. Yet Yu Zhou's seemingly ordinary pan had done it!
"This pan… is insane!"
Yu Zhou had identified that Diaborigu's primary threat came from its gun-equipped arms and shoulders. Removing the arms would drastically reduce its offensive capabilities.
He aimed the pan and struck again—successfully severing the second arm. Sparks erupted from the break.
"You've become so strong, Yu Zhou!" Daichi exclaimed, astonished at his rapid growth.
"Truly a warrior of the ancient Ultra era," X added, though Yu Zhou wasn't the ancient Ultraman he knew, his Tiga form was certainly awe-inspiring.
"Enough talk—let's finish this monster!" Yu Zhou thought. It was time to strike while the enemy was weakened.
Just as they prepared to unleash beams, an unexpected turn occurred.
Sadis, previously scattered across the ground, began reassembling.
From massive chunks to fine dust, green light knit him back together.
"I can still fight! I'm not ready to die!"
Within moments, Sadis fully resurrected, returning to life with a vengeance.
He rushed behind Diaborigu, patting its back.
"Let's get started!"
Sadis inserted his hands into Diaborigu's rear connectors, taking control.
"Diaborigu Cannon—ready to fire!"
A red beam coursed from Sadis' arms into Diaborigu. A cannon extended from its back.
"Target: Orb!"
Having been blown away earlier by Orb, Sadis locked onto him first.
Orb clenched his fists, ready to block the combined assault with an Ultra shield.
"Gai, get out of the way! You can't take that!" Yu Zhou shouted.
True to form, in the original timeline, Orb would have stubbornly stayed put, thinking he could block the attack—and been blasted anyway.
