When people are reborn in other worlds, they usually gain mysterious powers or a helper that guides them. But Cyrus Malcolm got none of them when he got my second chance at life.

One day, after finishing his shift in the hospital (and getting fired for being too competent), he visited his favorite declining bookstore run by a mysterious old man who called himself the ‘God’ and the shopkeeper asked if Cyrus was interested in taking over his business.

Cyrus smiled and jokingly told him that he was interested. The very next day when he woke up in his room, nothing looked the same outside his window. The only familiar thing in sight was the mysterious store he had taken over, with no one in sight.

So he did the only sensible thing a person in his situation could do—he took it over to try and make some money and to run his business of providing therapy to people.

Even if he was sometimes helped by powers beyond his knowledge, he was not going to question it.

Thankfully, someone took pity on him and decided to give him a system that allowed him to purchase items not from his current time.

But little did he know that the world he was currently in had changed from the one he knew, and all the clients he was about to get acquainted with were not ordinary beings.

And it would result in him creating a cult…or two…or a few filled with supernatural creatures that worship his words as god while he remained clueless.

I slept like a baby last night, but when I woke up, the situation from last night had not calmed down at all. I was still getting the notifications from the system and the noise was making me go mad.


'It is still going on?...not that it's bad. It's actually really good. But the noise is so distracting.'


I rubbed my face and sat up, trying to blink the numbers away. 


"Alright, alright, I get it. I'm awake."


I opened the system screen just to get a proper look at the damage.


The number ticked upward right in front of my eyes, updating every couple of seconds. 


Twenty thousand. It was such a high number and I had never seen such high numbers before. This gave me hope that I would be able to go back home.
