Long before Eller and the two others battled the Symbiote Dragon, in the Universe, Thanos, who had obtained the Power and Soul Infinity Stones, arrived at a Planet covered in countless black living organisms.
Thanos looked at the Planet beneath his feet, and the Infinity Gauntlet on his hand shimmered with purple light. Then, he punched the ground, and the immense power caused the crust to crack, sending countless black gelatinous substances flying into the sky, revealing a figure sealed deep within them.
That figure looked towards Thanos, and his eyes seemed to hide endless darkness. Noticing Thanos's arrival, he slightly raised his head to look at Thanos.
"Such a loathsome aura… Are you related to the Celestials?"
Thanos's origin is somewhat connected to the Eternal on Earth and the Celestials, who are said to regulate the order of the Universe.
However, Thanos's race has been destroyed, and he himself is not unrelated to its demise.
"My actions are solely from my own will," Thanos said slowly, as the two Infinity Stones simultaneously emitted light. "I need your power now, King in Black."
"Interesting." The King in Black, whose face was obscured by white hair, smiled faintly.
The King in Black's existence predates the Universe itself. He slept in a void until the light generated by the Celestials' planning of the Universe awakened him.
The enraged King in Black pulled a sword from the Shadow and slew a God, but he was ultimately defeated by the combined efforts of other God and retreated back into the darkness.
The King in Black's true name is Knull, and the sword he pulled from the Shadow was later known as the 'Black Death Sword.'
Later, Knull, who had retreated into the darkness and felt he had accumulated enough power, challenged the entire Universe. However, this Universe harbored unimaginable powerhouses. In one battle, the Black Death Sword was dropped and eventually fell into Gorr's hands. The current Black Death Sword has been reforged by power from Eternity, so this ancient King in Black has lost his exclusive weapon.
But Knull is not one to be defeated by setbacks. After losing the Black Death Sword, he instead created a race called 'Symbiotes' and once again raised a butcher's knife against other life in the Universe.
It was just that Knull had extremely bad luck. He was severely wounded in a major battle, and even the race he created refused to follow him, sealing him on this Planet.
It wasn't until Thanos used the power of the Infinity Stones to loosen the seal that Knull regained a bit of consciousness.
While conversing with Thanos, Knull was also controlling Grendel on Earth to battle Eller and the two others. If he couldn't come to an agreement with this individual who possessed two Infinity Stones, Knull would transfer his entire consciousness to Grendel.

"I need your power," Thanos said calmly. "I want to save this Universe, to prevent it from going astray."
"Save?"
"There is an upper limit to the total number of lives the Universe can sustain. Once that limit is reached, all life will self-destruct." Thanos snapped his fingers lightly, then continued:
"So, I must save it."
"What if even fate tries to stop you?" Knull asked.
"Fate? I have never believed in such things. Even if some prophecies have come true, I will still convince myself that those are just coincidences, things that can be figured out with wisdom and patience.
I will not deliberately do the opposite just because I don't believe. Whatever divine will, destiny, fate, or doom, I, Thanos, will only do what my reason tells me is the right thing."
As he spoke, the scene of Gamora falling off the cliff resurfaced in Thanos's mind, but his eyes were filled with determination.
This mad Titan, who had slaughtered countless Planet, would only advance.
His resolve to save the Universe by eliminating half of all life had never changed. Thanos even considered whether he needed to pull the Universe back into a state of void and then reshape it into the form he desired.
"Hahahahaha, interesting! I suddenly want to see what you can achieve." Upon hearing Thanos's philosophy, Knull burst into laughter. He was starting to find it somewhat amusing.
In a sense, Knull and Thanos were alike.
"Thank you." Thanos said no more. The two Infinity Stones glowed simultaneously, and then he extended his hand towards Knull's direction.
A very small black dot appeared out of nowhere, and immense gravity instantly emerged. The entire Planet's Symbiotes, along with Knull himself, were sucked into the singularity, finally transforming into a jet-black gem.
This gem, formed from the God of Symbiotes, could increase Thanos's chances of success. Only then did Thanos prepare to go to Earth.
"It's time to do what needs to be done." A flicker of determination flashed in Thanos's eyes.
There was no need for schemes anymore, because there would only be two outcomes. So Thanos chose to fight fair and square.

At the same time, on Earth, Eller and the two others suddenly felt the black dragon weaken significantly.
"Strange, even that dark and evil aura has disappeared. What happened?" Loki, in his confusion, threw a ball of Fire at the black dragon.
During his adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy, he had awakened a power, Fire, completely opposite to his Frost Giant bloodline.
Fire, like lightning, was the thing Symbiotes feared most, but this shouldn't be the reason the black dragon suddenly weakened.
But Eller knew that no matter what, something had happened to Knull, who was behind the Symbiote Dragon.
Could it be that someone had killed Knull and taken his power? Eller made a bold guess.
At the same time, Thor and Loki simultaneously conjured lightning and Fire larger than a large passenger plane.
The lightning and Fire seemed to illuminate the entire World, and when they landed on the black dragon, this attack, representing divine punishment, completely killed it, leaving not even a single cell behind.
After dealing with the black dragon, Thor and Loki slowly landed.
Thor was in a very good mood today. His loved one, who should have died, had been resurrected and could now fight alongside him. This was simply wonderful for Thor!
