Seeing this, Loki also made a certain decision. He knew Star-Lord wouldn't agree, so he cast an illusion spell to silence Star-Lord completely, then shouted:

Thanos brought his adopted daughter Gamora to the temple and met the Guardian who forever guarded it.
This Guardian was once also obsessed with the power of the Infinity Stones, but his greed harmed him, ultimately leading to a fate of never being able to leave this place.
There was no Red Skull in this Universe to replace him, so he could only guard here forever.
The Guardian of the Soul Stone slowly said to Thanos: "I have been waiting for you for a long time."
"You know me?" Thanos asked.
"Always have." The Guardian of the Soul Stone walked forward, and the three of them ascended the steps to the top of the temple.
"If you wish to obtain the Soul Stone, you must pass a test."
"What test?"
"Sacrifice your most beloved."
"Ha!"
Upon hearing this, Gamora laughed out loud, directly mocking Thanos, "Could a guy like you ever have loved?"

Thanos remained silent, merely fixing his gaze on Gamora, his eyes growing deeper, as if he were taking a final look.

Thanos placed the Soul Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet, then returned to his spaceship, but he was not in a hurry to find the remaining four stones. Even when his most loyal subordinates suggested it, he ignored them.

Eller slightly raised his head, four-colored light swirling in his eyes. Facing Thanos, who was searching for the Infinity Stones, he seemed uninterested, merely stating calmly:
"Then let him continue to search. I will wait for him on Earth."
"Is your friend that confident?" Loki asked, looking at Thor in confusion.
Upon hearing this, Thor nodded solemnly, "If Eller has confidence, then he can absolutely defeat Thanos."
