Chapter 70 - Eye In The Sky

Dr. Sung stood there. Her expression was blank, her eyes soulless. She was looking at specimens, not people. 

"You don't know how special you are," she said. She lifted her hand and crooked her fingers. She moved aside as four men in black military-esque uniforms appeared in the cell. "Let's go."

"Where?" asked Ryder. 

"Wherever I tell you." 

Duct tape was slapped over their mouths and then they were hauled out of the room by their new burly friends. 

"I can't work in these conditions," complained Dr. Sung. "And what use are you two if you're so stressed and weak you can't participate properly in my experiments? And Rand, that idiot. Doing all of this for revenge against a dead woman. Pathetic." Dr. Sung sighed. "She's been gone for so long. How can the mere memory of her existence make grown men do stupid things?"

The distant sounds of gunfire interrupted Dr. Sung's musings. They stopped in the corridor, just a few feet from the elevator. "What's happening?"
