Min-jae arrived in the UK just past noon, stepping out of Heathrow Airport with a stiff back and an even stiffer sense of duty. He tugged his coat tighter, exhaled a cold breath, and walked toward the waiting LJ security car sent by the European branch. The driver bowed the moment he recognized him.
"Welcome, Director Lee."
Min-jae gave a short nod. "Take me to the LJ European headquarters. Directly."
"Yes, sir."
The drive was quiet. London's gray skyline blurred past the windows while Min-jae reviewed the texts Chairman Lee had sent him earlier—the ones expressing worry, the ones asking him to "support Joon-hyuk quietly." His grandfather had phrased it gently, but Min-jae understood the deeper meaning: Protect him. And protect him fast.
