Chapter 12 - Gold Rend

[How about we up the odds then my friend?]

'I'm listening, but hurry, looks like they're starting to argue now.'

They were indeed going back and forth, almost at the verge of yelling.

Eiselle and Kya stood chest to chest, their heated words clashing like sparks. Kasper, meanwhile, watched from the side, her head tilted in amusement as if she was observing a drama instead of her sister and the other about to rip each other's clothes off.

[So I'm going to temporarily increase the Miracle Touch's level to 100. If you can survive without them touching you once for 30 minutes, you'll get a badass reward..]

'And if I don't?'

[I will shrink your dick to 1 inch for a month :-)]

[Your call.]

'Bruh why it always got to involve my junior?'

[Got to hit you where it hurts the most. But like I said if you prevail, the reward will be more than worth it. So..what do you say?]

'Tsk, fine then..can't be that bad, right?'

If only he knew.

If only he knew how that phrase was about to bite him straight in the ass.

A Few Minutes Later…

"HUS! HUS! HUS!"

Regret.

A feeling Terrence didn't experience much.

He was the kind of man who lived life with no regrets, hell..it was practically one of his personal quotes of life.

But right now?

He damn sure regretted accepting the System's 'quest.'

"Terrrence! Where are yoouu!?"

He could hear Eiselle's sing-song voice echoing through the forest like a siren.

"Don't make us wait too long.." Kya followed, her voice thick with mischief.

"Because you know it's rude to make ladies wait.. right, Terrence~" Kasper ended with a giggle.

Not one of her normal ones either. No, this one was different—low, breathy, and unhinged.

It reminded him of a yandere's laugh after she just finished slaughtering all her rivals for love.

Definitely not a good sign.

And to think, he'd once considered her the innocent one.

[Haha, you better run faster Terrence! They're coming!]

"Yeah no shit, System! Didn't even know why I listened to you in the first place! You knew this would happen, didn't you!?"

[You should know by now, every woman reacts differently to being horny..]

[Unfortunately for you..they reacted like a thousand bunnies in heat.]

[But as long as they don't touch you, your manhood will be spared, my friend!]

"Fuck you, System! Twenty-one more minutes! HUS! HUS! HUS!"

Terrence yelled as he sprinted through the trees, dodging roots, leaves, and fate itself. His heartbeat thundered in his ears like war drums.

He ran, until he stopped dead in his tracks.

In front of him floated something..divine.

A massive swirling gold Rend. Its golden light shimmered like a living sun, radiating warmth and weight all at once.

"…Wait… a gold Rend? Aren't these the Fate-Type Rends?" Terrence muttered, squinting at it. "I read that usually they're hard to come by."

[Must be a reason this one showed up. If I were you, I'd enter it.]

[Not that you have much of a choice anyways, they're almost here.]

"You right!" Terrence replied instantly.

[Fate-Type Rend Ahead]

[Do you wish to ent—]

"Yes!" Terrence didn't even wait for the System to finish before diving in.

The moment he vanished, an ethereal golden lock sealed the Rend shut with a deep thrum.

A second later, a gust of wind exploded outward as three figures emerged from the woods.

"Aw..looks like he ran inside." Kya pouted, her eyes still glowing faintly pink with heat.

"Guess we'll have to wait for him.." Kasper sighed in disappointment, though the look in her eyes screamed payback. "He's not escaping this easily. What are we going to do while we wait?"

Eiselle slowly placed a finger on her chin, her voice darkening with sultry amusement as she scanned the sisters. "I can think of one thing.."

Inside the Rend

A golden flash swallowed him whole.

When Terrence opened his eyes again, he was surrounded by radiance.

Everywhere he looked—light. Golden light. Blinding, endless, pure. It wasn't harsh though..it was warm, like standing inside the heart of a sun that chose not to burn him alive.

"Well well..I must say this is quite new."

The voice that spoke wasn't loud, yet it shook him to the core. Smooth. Womanly. Calm, but with the kind of depth that made you feel like it could unravel time itself if it wanted to.

When his vision cleared, his breath caught.

Sitting before him—

A colossal, naked, cosmic-colored woman. Her skin shimmered like the night sky drowned in gold dust. Only large threads of glowing gold covered her dignity, wrapping her body like woven destiny itself.

She had long, crystalline, star-white hair that flowed endlessly, eyes that burned with pure starlight, and a presence that made even his System temporarily go silent.

She sat upon a massive throne, crafted entirely of golden threads that extended infinitely behind her, as though the universe itself was a tapestry she controlled with her fingers.

Terrence couldn't help but ask. "Who..are you?"

She giggled. The sound vibrated through the entire realm, like laughter woven into the strings of creation.

"You can call me The Judge," she said, voice smooth as silk but heavy with authority. "The one who decides the verdict of future fate, who weighs every thread of choice before it's pulled."

Her starlit eyes glowed brighter as she smiled. "And you, Terrence Danbrose..have just tugged one you were never meant to touch."
