Greetings, my children. Today's story shall be all about how things began.
---
Our story begins long before the dawn of creation itself, when the cosmos was filled with nothing but endless darkness.
Time had no meaning then. Reality didn't even exist. Who knows how long this lasted?
But one day, I awoke. Now, you may call me a lot of things—Father, Dad, Grandfather—but most just call me… God.
During this time, I was nothing more than a floating ball of light drifting across the endless darkness of this empty universe.
But as I grew older, I formed what humans now call a conscience—or what I would call a soul. I saw the bleakness of the world around me and felt… lonely.
I was simply alone. I didn't know what to do. How do I end my loneliness?
But then four pairs of interlocking eyes gazed at me. I didn't know who they were or what they were, but I simply didn't care.
I moved closer and closer towards them to finally see and hear them, but as I drew closer, all I could see were shadows and their eyes.
They didn't seem to move at all, let alone talk, but as I stared back at them, we formed a sort of kinship with one another. It wasn't normal, to say the least, but now I had someone, and I wasn't feeling all too lonely anymore.
As the eons passed and time began to exist, stars, though small and minuscule, began to form all around us.
And before we knew it, explosions of epic proportions surrounded us, engulfing the once barren and dark universe in light. And as I stared at the dazzling display of light…
A thought formed: What if I could make my own stars? Surely it wasn't too difficult. It was simply burning gas that was supercharged.
So, trying my metaphorical hand, I began collecting the necessary ingredients in order to create my very own star.
But before I could even fully finish creating the star, it began to quickly collapse in on itself.
What did I do wrong? Did I add something that wasn't right? Did I add too much?
As the star continued to collapse, it began to turn dark in color, and before I knew it, the star that I was creating would now later be called Phoenix A.
Moving on from that mistake, my friend and I—let's call him Shade—began to float across the cosmos looking for a new place to live. Eventually, we found ourselves in a galaxy far, far away.
This galaxy would later be called the Milky Way. Moving towards its center, I began the process of creating a new star in order to finally finish my first assignment.
This time, I tried making it more minuscule in order to avoid it becoming another black hole. After what felt like an eternity, I finally finished my very first sun, and it felt… good.
I couldn't describe the sensation, but when I finally finished it, I felt a sense of… euphoria.
And before I knew it, I began creating all sorts of things—planets, nebulae, and even more stars, but with different colors.
This went on for… I wasn't too sure… eons.
And as I did, my only friend disappeared, and I knew it was my fault. I ignored him and focused on my own hobbies without even showing him what I'd done.
And almost as expected, I slowly became lonely again. But suddenly, I felt a flash of genius strike me.
If I didn't want to be alone, I might as well create someone new.
But before even doing any of that, I started off by creating a place for them to live. I couldn't just leave them floating in space.
So, using my knowledge in shaping the fabric of reality, with one quick motion I created the lands that would be known as Eden and Heaven.
Once I had finished creating the land from whence they would come, I thought of what I should look like. Not really paying it much mind, I created a simple humanoid form that resembled… well, almost nothing, since I still hadn't created it. But they would always be in my image.
Finally, it was time to create something new.
Weaving the fabrics of reality, I slowly began to create something that would one day be called… an angel.
I wasn't sure what to call them, but as I continued to think and work, I slowly got an idea of what they should be called. After finally finishing and giving them a look over, I had finally decided.
"From now until the end of time, you shall henceforth be called… Samael. Welcome to reality, my precious son."

Sorry for the short chapter, but I caught the big C and I need to rest.
Also, not every chapter will have a song.
