"Victoria, what are you doing here?"
I heard his voice, which sounded like he had woken up from his sleep. Great, it was almost time for our meeting this afternoon, and she sounded much better than before.
I immediately opened the door to his office and walked in. "I called her to come. Because you refused to go home and I thought you would need someone close to you while you were sick. So I called Ms. Victoria to come."
Tristan turned to me and I could see him gritting his teeth in annoyance because I had called Vicky to come without asking his permission first. But I couldn't keep accompanying him at a time like this.
I had to control my feelings and not get lost in them anymore. Besides, Victoria was the one who was going to marry him, and she had to see him at a time like this. She would always be there in sickness and in health, as the wedding vows said.
