Lara:
"Hey," I said, smiling brightly at her.
"Try not to talk about Zoe moving out," she said immediately and I gave her a confused look.
"What do you mean?" I asked, pouting.
"Lara, my daughter is not ready to go and live alone after what happened. She needs—"
As she continued speaking, I cut her off.
"I understand your concern, but she's not a victim. I don't know why you keep forgetting that. Nothing happened to her. Her husband was the victim, and I think he wants to leave. Did you not see him nod?" I said firmly.
As I spoke, I watched her eyes widen, shock settling in. She had little idea that this was only the beginning for her.
"Lara, I hope you're not forgetting that my daughter loves Markus and how Iris has played with her heart by trying to steal her husband," Lady Vivian began to yap, and I started nodding because I already knew all of that.
I did not know why she had to repeat herself and make it so irritating for me.
