Ethan and Sherly left Ethan's office to reach Ashley's workspace that night. The door opened, and Ethan saw Ashley finishing her last tasks, while Jill was already relaxing on the office sofa.
Jill turned and saw Ethan walk in with Sherly. If the two of them had arrived together, then it meant Ethan had already finished his work.
