"She has no credentials nor does she have any work experience for this role!" Robert complained.
"She is fit for the job. She has proven herself to be capable of taking it on," I defended Jasmine,
"Oh god, please. In what delusional world do you think we are in? Just tell the truth and say that you hired her to have your little affair at work," Robert pressed me.
I was about to snap back at Robert when our father spoke up.
"I'm also told you've recently changed the menu of the restaurant," my father said.
"Yes, I did," I replied surprised he knew about this. I had given reports to Robert and Vincent since they were my superiors but I never anticipated that my father was aware as well.
"Whose idea was it?" he asked. His tone of voice was vague I couldn't tell if he was angry or not. Should I say it was me and take the blame in case Jasmine got in trouble?
"It was my idea," Jasmine spoke up before I could answer. "Please don't blame Louis for what I did.'
