"Fuck!"
Over the Northern Pacific, the Volcanic Emperor Takeō Albrecht cursed at the top of his lungs.
"Fucking bastard! I'll kill him! I'll kill him, I swear!"
Amadi's face dominated his mind as he flew towards southern Asia. Flames were emitting from his feet and propelling him across the sky. A burning sensation came from the ring on his right hand. He stopped midair and the flames kept him from falling. He looked down at the silver ring that was embedded with red gemstones. The gems were shining a burning light. Takeō frowned and created a small flame. He poured the flame into the ring and a bright light emitted from it.
"Takeō."
A male voice came from the light.
"Yes, Grandfather."
"I just received reports of you attacking Kismet's Base."
"....I did. My apologies."
Takeō bowed his head towards the light.
"Explain yourself."
"My original intentions were to go and see what they're like for myself, so I watched a few of their training sessions."
"And you were dissatisfied?"
"I was appalled by their weakness."
Takeō spat out.
"How can you put the task of taking down that monstrous bastard in the hands of such weaklings?! Belinha and Batu are one thing, but those Rookies?! I should've been the first name on the member's sheet!"
Takeō's shouts echoed in the sky as he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth.
"I will kill Amadi."
"And after that, what next? You become my new heir?"
"Exactly!"
He slammed his right hand over his heart.
"I'm the one who should be Emperor! I'm destined for it!"
"No one is destined for anything."
The light argued back with a calm voice.
"Nothing is owed to us in this life. If you want something, you must either take it or hope someone gives it to you. Our family only practice the former; we take."
"Then I will take Amadi's status!"
"Takeō, return."
"I'm serious, Grandfath—"
A lightning bolt pierced Takeō's body and nearly caused him to fall from the sky. He looked around him; there wasn't a cloud in sight.
"I don't like to repeat myself, Takeō."
".....Yes, Grandfather."
The light disappeared from the ring, leaving Takeō alone. He clicked his tongue before continuing on his way. Meanwhile, at Kismet's Base...
"Your tea."
"Thank you, Belinha."
Amadi took a cup of tea from Belinha while sitting on a sofa with his legs crossed. He was inside Kismet's base with them. He took the cup and brought it up to his nose.
"Yes, you have the good Black Tea."
He sipped the tea with a smile.
"Aren't you afraid of poison?"
Belinha asked.
"Darling, if I could've been poisoned, I would've died a long time ago."
Amadi's well-groomed hair suddenly became unkempt before wildly growing out to cover half his face and flowed down to the floor.
"My powers grant me a vast amount of vitality and life force. Thanks to that, I regenerate faster than the average Superhuman and am a hundred times harder to kill."
He waved his hand and his hair was cut as it was before. The excess hair floated in front of him and burned into ashes, which disappeared in the wind without a trace. He showed off his fingernails.
"The downside is I have to cut my hair and nails several times a day or they get out of hand."
His nails had grown out a few inches.
"That's sick."
Impactor muttered. Amadi smiled.
"Right?"
He put down the tea.
"Let's get to the reason for my visit."
He showed a bright smile.
"I'd appreciate it if you keep Hiraya's identity a secret."
(He openly called her by her real name...)
Belinha picked up on a certain detail. Amadi leaned over.
"You see, Hiraya greatly values her life as Hiraya Del Rosario. She has friends that she cares about, ordinary people who are far removed from her job. She gets to relax without worrying about enemies and most of all...."
As if like a child happily talking about something they love, Amadi's smile lit up the room.
"I love to see her living the life she deserves."
His smile and gentle tone gave birth to shock as Kismet couldn't believe their eyes. They couldn't match the sinister entity known as Sinvula with the person in front of them.
"....You seem to care a lot about her."
Surprisingly, it was Bojana who spoke to him. Amadi looked at her while keeping his smile.
"Of course, I love her dearly."
Bojana's eyes widened for a bit and she couldn't help but smile. In contrast to her smile, Amadi's face darkened.
"This is why if you reveal her identity and destroy her peace that she worked so hard for, I will destroy the GHF in its entirety."
The atmosphere instantly became tense. There was no tenderness or compassion anymore, just conviction and determination to see his words become a reality. It was then Kismet realised, Amadi Albrecht was indeed the Mad Shaman Sinvula. Their hearts began to race as they looked into his eyes.
"But I guess I don't have to worry."
Amadi closed his eyes while flashing a smile. He reopened them and they had a playful look.
"I mean, I know you guys won't tell anyone. The consequences won't be worth it."
"....Is that why you didn't tell us not to reveal your identity? Because the consequences aren't worth it?"
Amadi looked at Belinha, who stared him in the eyes before bursting out laughing.
"No, not at all."
He leaned back in his seat with a smirk.
"I don't care if you reveal my identity. In fact, I would be grateful if you did."
"Why?"
"Because I'll finally be free to go all out."
Under Belinha's shock gaze, Amadi's smirk turned into a savage grin.
"You see, unlike Hiraya, I don't care for a peaceful life or life as Amadi Albrecht."
He pointed at himself.
"My greatest wish is to sink this cursed world into an abyss of despair."
"You sound like one of those edgelords."
Impactor said without hesitation. Amadi laughed.
"At the end of the day, I guess I am."
He smiled.
"Just someone who refuses to grow up and constantly causes trouble..."
He sat in silence as he stared off into space.
"Um, Ama—Sinvula."
Amadi looked at Mikel with his usual grin.
"You can call me Amadi. I think we're all close enough for that."
"Hm? We're friends then?"
"Nah, but we have a unique relationship. So, it's okay."
"I see, then you can call me Celso."
Belinha hit Impactor on the back of his head. He looked at her in confusion.
"What? He mostly knows my identity already. I mean, he saw me without my mask."
Impactor protested while Amadi nodded in agreement.
"Anyway..."
Mikel spoke up again.
"Why are you holding yourself back if you don't care about anything?"
Amadi remained silent for a bit before pointing at Mikel.
"Mikel, right?"
Mikel nodded.
"You're misunderstanding something here. I've never said I don't care about anything. I mean, even I have my comrades, Iron Rain. One of the things I care about is what is preventing me from rampaging as I like."
".... What is that?"
Amadi glanced at the twins for a bit.
"Family, it's my family that's keeping me together."
"Even though you just stepped on your cousin?"
Mira asked.
"I don't consider that thing my family. We just share blood."
Amadi didn't hide his disgust.
"If not for the fact his mother was kind to me when I was a kid, I would have slaughtered that branch of the family years ago. When I'm talking about family, I'm talking about my maternal family; everybody else can go to hell."
"....What about your grandfather?"
Belinha asked after some hesitation.
"He's...."
Amadi placed a finger over his lips.
"Just because I'm freely sharing info about myself doesn't mean I'll reveal everything like that."
"You were really sharing a lot, though."
Impactor added.
"That's because I like you guys."
"I thought you hated me, though, for the ol' beating you thing."
Amadi's eye twitched.
"I did, but I learned that you're quite a funny guy."
He looked at the rest of Kismet.
"I can also see why that old guy chose these members."
A beastly grin crawled on his face.
"You all are quite interesting in your own way."
His eyes stopped on Mikel for a bit before shifting to Kira, who looked away.
"I'm certain you can grow up to entertain Hiraya and me in the future."
"Sinvula."
He turned his gaze to Belinha, who called out to him.
"I need you to answer my question no matter what..."
She clenched her fists.
"Why is someone from the Albrecht Clan, a family that has a history of heroism...Why did you become Sinvula, the World's Biggest Terrorist?"
Her body trembled with emotion as she locked eyes with him. This was a question she had been asking herself ever since she knew his identity. As someone who was born in heroism, someone who dedicated her life to be like the heroes of legends, the man in front of her, who hailed from the greatest Hero family in history, contradicted everything she knew. His existence shook her very core.
"As the heir of the Albrecht Clan, you should be leading the next generation of Heroes, instead you're our greatest enemy.....Why? How did it turn out like this?"
Amadi looked at her in silence. He could sense all the emotions she was feeling, the turmoil in her heart. Her sense of self and beliefs were being shaken. A family of Heroes gave birth to the greatest Villain? Impossible! It was something she couldn't wrap her head around. Seeing such discord in her heart, Amadi—
"Who knows? It just happened."
He dismissed those pleading eyes and trampled on her emotions.
"I've talked about everything I wanted. So, it's time for me to leave."
He stood up and walked past her.
"See you next week."
He left the base with a big smile on his face. Belinha stood in silence, gritting her teeth with fists clenched.
