Chapter 57 - Spider-Man's Underground Base

It looked like an ordinary shed, the kind almost everyone had to store lawnmowers and other equipment.

But in reality, that was just a disguise.

Peter stood in front of the shed, reaching for the lock. He held it up, aligning the keyhole with his eye.

There were two ways to get in: either he himself, or a key.

The key was usually with Aunt May.

Since the blonde Spider-Man was here, he didn't need the key.

A beam of light shot out from the keyhole, shining into his pupil.

"Gate of Opening," Peter whispered.

"Fingerprint identification passed."

"Iris scan passed."

"Voice recognition passed."

Several identification measures lit up in sequence, unlocking the high-tech password lock built into the key.

Then, the wooden door transformed into a cool, high-tech, explosion-proof door, flashing a huge spider emblem before opening.

Peter walked inside.

The small cabin housed an elevator that led directly to the depths of the earth, where the golden-haired Spider-Man's private base was located.

As the elevator descended, memory fragments flooded Peter's mind, becoming increasingly numerous. (After reading the background information of this universe, it's different from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and comic. It's a universe based on Sony's own Spider-Man-related stories, such as his upside-down kiss with Mary Jane, saving people on the subway, and Doctor Octopus throwing a car while he was eating with Mary Jane, etc. Doesn't it seem familiar? It was just ultimately defined as Earth-1610B, which is quite different from the Ultimate Universe.)

His name was Peter Benjamin Parker, born in December 1991, and he grew up in Queens, New York City. From a young age, he established a close relationship with his Aunt May Parker and Uncle Ben Parker.

In 2007, at the age of 16, he was bitten by a radioactive spider while visiting the Osborn Group's bio-lab. As a result, he gained super strength, enhanced durability, and the ability to stick to walls, among other spider-like superpowers.

After the unexpected death of his Uncle Ben Parker, he invented wrist-mounted web-shooters and, utilizing his abilities, became the one and only superhero in New York City – Spider-Man.

He spent eleven years as Spider-Man in New York City. His heroic deeds and the hope he brought to people made him a household name, and he was respected by many.

Although almost no one knew the real identity behind the Spider-Man mask, countless products, foods, and even Christmas music albums were named after Spider-Man's name and image.

To combat several powerful villains who had long haunted the city, like Kingpin, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Prowler, he collaborated with Aunt May, the only person who knew his true identity. Together, they established the Spider-Base in the basement of Aunt May's house.

The Spider-Base contained many pieces of equipment he developed himself.

For example, the Spider-Motorcycle, which allowed him to run on walls, was inspired by his spider abilities.

Then there was the suit-making machine, which combined 3D printing technology and advanced materials. Also, he had a dozen Spider-Suits he created for himself, each with different functions.

Additionally, there were vertical take-off and landing drones with folding wings, eco-friendly cars, 720-degree surround sound systems, and viewing equipment.

Some of these technologies he sold to several companies under the name Peter Parker, earning money to improve his and Aunt May's lives and support his superhero activities.

After all, he was busy with his superhero work every day and didn't have much time to work.

Fortunately, Aunt May supported him, offering advice and solving his problems, which led him to where he was today.

As for this underground private base, it also served as a safe house. If a city-destroying disaster occurred, Aunt May could enter here in time and reach the underground. The thick protective layer of the underground base and the resources inside were enough to survive for a long time.

In short, the golden-haired Spider-Man's life was happy and fulfilling until he was 26.

He fell in love with the kind Mary Jane Watson, and Mary Jane loved him back. After several years of dating, they got together.

This Spider-Man's story made Peter sincerely envious.

If it weren't for this unexpected accident, he would have continued to live a happy and fulfilling life.

The golden-haired Spider-Man's actions undoubtedly gave him an idea.

He learned a lot from it.

In the past, he envied Iron Man's Stark Industries, envying the cool way he flew around in his armor.

But now, he thought, he could perhaps be like the golden-haired Spider-Man.

For example, he could avoid establishing Parker Industries and instead use the money he earned, or simply his technology, to invest or take shares.

After all, if he was passionate about being a superhero, he wouldn't have much time to manage a company.

And he was interested in physics research, not financial management.

Unless he could, like Iron Man, find someone like Pepper Potts, someone both trustworthy and capable, to help him manage the business.

But that was too difficult.

Stark Industries was built on the foundation of the previous generation, so Iron Man was about maintaining and innovating, which allowed him to build the massive Stark Industries.

But if he wanted to create Parker Industries, that would mean starting from scratch.

If he didn't want to do it himself and instead found someone suitable to help him manage it... then the question arose: why would someone with such strong abilities want to help him?

Wouldn't it be better for them to do it themselves, or just go work for a big company?

Rather than that, it would be better for him to just provide the money, technology, and then collect the money and research the technology.

As for himself, he could be like this blonde Spider-Man, building a cutting-edge lab, though small, but with everything he needed, to support his personal development.

As for why he was so enthusiastic about the superhero business and didn't like managing a company, well, everyone has their own preferences.

Just like some people enjoy reading, some enjoy sports, and others enjoy playing games.

Peter's hobby is being a superhero.

And he can even be a superhero in different worlds!

As for whether he'll get screwed over or anything like that, that's something to consider later. Don't think too much about it, okay?

Click!

The levitating elevator stopped at the bottom floor, and the surrounding lights turned on one by one.

The first thing that came into view was a row of lockers.

When he saw these lockers, information about them automatically popped into Peter's mind.

Each of these lockers contained a Spider-Suit designed by the blonde Spider-Man, and each suit had different effects.

They were stored here because some of their features weren't suitable for everyday wear.

They had accompanied the blonde Spider-Man through some experiences, dealt with certain villains, and each suit held a memory, each with unique collectible value!
