"..."
Haibara let out a quiet snort.
Big bad wolf.
But… this arrangement was barely acceptable.
She chose to say nothing.
Ran got up and turned off the room lights.
Then, in the darkness, she made her way back to bed.
The moment she wrapped her arms around Akashi, a familiar warmth spread through her.
That comforting sensation of being close to him.
Yin energy flowed steadily through her body.
A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips.
Meanwhile, Akashi, now in Ran's embrace, wasn't idle either.
Without hesitation, his small hands reached out—
And pulled little Loli Haibara into his arms.
Just like that, the three of them were pressed together, forming a cozy sandwich.
With a satisfied sigh, the succubus shota murmured warmly—
"Good night."
Ran naturally responded.
"Good night, Akashi. Good night, Ai!"
As for Haibara—
Her face burned in the darkness.
She couldn't bring herself to say a single word.
At this moment, Haibara was questioning everything.
This… this is too weird!
I have the body of a child right now!
And so does Akashi!
So why does this feel good?!
Her mind reeled, struggling to make sense of the situation.
Akashi, blissfully unaware, had already drifted off to sleep.
Completely oblivious to the fact that, by instinct, his arms had wrapped even tighter around Haibara.
His small hands rested gently on her body.
His warmth, his presence—
It lingered.
The sensations stacked up, accumulating like critical hits.
Haibara's blue eyes widened.
Her breath hitched.
W-Wait a second…!
A strong-willed little girl like her refused to let any abnormality show.
She bit down on her pink lips, forcing herself to remain silent.
But this feeling…
This was completely new.
Slowly, she turned her head.
Her gaze landed on Akashi's sleeping face.
For a long moment, she simply stared.
Her thoughts spun in circles.
Could it be…?
Is Akashi really my nemesis?
But—
He already has my sister!
With chaotic thoughts swirling in her mind, Haibara found herself completely lost.
That night, in the warmth of the hot spring hotel—
Her heart fell into utter confusion.
Meanwhile, in the next room—
Conan's night was miserable.
Trapped in the iron grip of a grown man, he barely got any sleep.
He drifted in and out of consciousness, caught in a half-awake daze.
All the while, Kogoro—still under hypnosis—slept like a log.
His snores echoed through the room, and from time to time—
He rolled over.
But no matter how much he moved, he never let go of Conan.
And so, Conan spent the entire night being tossed around like a rag doll.
A rollercoaster ride from hell.
On the other hand, Ran—nourished by yin energy—slept soundly.
Deep. Peaceful.
However—
In the morning, her dreams took an unexpected turn.
All the events that had unfolded at the hot spring hotel played out once more in her mind.
The car ride.
The hot spring.
The steam room.
And the protagonist of these dreamlike scenes—
Was definitely Akashi.
"Akashi, don't move around while you're asleep."
"Akashi, do you want to help your big sister wash her body? You're so capable, Akashi!"
"Ah! Akashi, that water is too dirty to drink!"
The dream continued to unfold.
Until—
A small hand suddenly smacked Ran across the face.
She woke with a start.
Blinking rapidly, she turned her head—
Only to be met with Haibara's half-lidded gaze.
Her blue eyes, still shadowed with dark circles, locked onto Ran with a look of sheer disdain.
It was as if she were looking at some kind of depraved scumbag.
In her hand, she casually held a glass of water, sipping from it as if nothing had happened.
Ran panicked instantly.
Oh no—what kind of face is that?!
"No, it's not what you think, Ai-chan! Please, let me explain!"
Ruined.
How could she dream about something like that?!
Haibara shot Ran a glance and snorted.
"Before you explain, maybe put your clothes on first?"
Ran froze.
At some point, the belt of her bathrobe had come undone, leaving her robe wide open—exposing everything.
Next to her, Akashi was still sound asleep.
His right hand, however—
Was resting on Ran chest.
If anyone else walked in and saw this scene—
A peacefully sleeping young boy, an underdressed girl, and their rather compromising position—
There was only one conclusion they would come to.
That Ran had evil intentions toward poor little Shota!
Flushing deep red, she frantically pulled her bathrobe closed, tying the belt tightly.
Only then did Haibara finally look away.
Even as a fellow girl, she had to admit—
Ran's big chest was quite something.
Without another word, Ran grabbed Haibara's hand and dragged her outside.
She was in such a rush that she completely failed to notice—
The bed Haibara had been sitting on just moments ago was now empty.
Even Haibara's clothes were different from the ones she had worn before bed.
Meanwhile, Akashi remained deep in slumber, utterly unaware that his innocent little hand had nearly caused absolute chaos.
Suddenly, a loud shout erupted from the next room—
"WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT AM I HOLDING?!"
It was Kogoro.
Apparently, he had finally woken up and realized that something felt off.
Without a second thought—
He flung the mysterious object in his arms away.
That object happened to be Conan.
The poor kid was sent flying straight into the wall, crashing with a loud thud.
A bright red bump immediately swelled on his forehead.
"Uncle! You were the one holding me all night! Did you forget?!" Conan shouted in frustration.
Kogoro scoffed. "Nonsense! Why the hell would I hold you in my sleep? You must've been the one clinging onto me!"
Of course, Kogoro had no recollection of what happened.
Just like every other time he had been anaesthetised, his memory was completely blank.
The experience was the same as waking up after one of his infamous drinking binges—fragments missing, reality distorted.
Looking at his utterly confused uncle, Conan sighed.
He didn't even have the words to explain anymore.
All he felt was deep, overwhelming sadness.
Their commotion was so loud that it caught the attention of the two girls heading into the hallway.
Ran hurriedly opened the door.
"Dad? What's wrong? What happened?"
Kogoro waved dismissively. "Nothing, nothing. This brat crawled under my bed and scared the hell out of me. It's fine."
Ran let out a sigh of relief.
"Geez, I thought it was another murder case!"
Just then, the sliding door of the next room opened.
Akashi emerged, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"What's going on…?" he mumbled drowsily.
Ran quickly covered for the situation. "It's okay, nothing serious!"
Then, she shot Haibara a meaningful wink—a silent plea to keep this morning's events a secret.
Haibara snorted but said nothing.
After all, she had her own reasons for wanting to forget last night.
If anyone found out…
It would be way too embarrassing!
Since everyone was already awake, Ran clapped her hands together.
"Alright! Since we're up, I'll go tell Grandma Juzi to prepare breakfast!"
She smiled brightly. "Once we eat, we'll head back to Tokyo. Let's all freshen up first!"
"Hai…"
Conan responded weakly.
Though he was completely sleep-deprived, the thought of finally leaving this nightmarish hot spring hotel was a blessing.
The sooner, the better.
After finishing breakfast, the group set off for Tokyo.
Inside the car—
Both Conan and Haibara were yawning nonstop.
It was painfully obvious they hadn't gotten enough sleep.
Meanwhile, Ran sat comfortably, holding Akashi in her arms as she glanced back at the hotel.
Unlike Conan, she had a completely different impression of this trip.
To her, this had been a healing journey.
So much so—
That if given the chance, she would love to come back again.
Maybe next time, with just Akashi alone.
That way, the experience could be even better!
But first…
She needed to find a way to explain things to Haibara.
After all—
She is NOT a Pervert!
