"Training with Sakura-chan, training with Sakura-chan~"
On the path to Konoha's Training Ground Three, the blond kid was grinning ear to ear.
The second Kakashi-sensei said Sakura was gonna train him, Naruto bolted straight here like his life depended on it.
There, in the forest clearing, he spotted the black-clad girl sparring with Uchiha Sasuke.
Pink hair whipped by the gusts from her sword swings. Sweat dripped from her smooth chin.
To Naruto, she looked radiant—untouchable, dazzling. He couldn't look away.
But then…
"Why the hell is it Sasuke, that jerk?!"
Fists clenched, nostrils flaring, two puffs of steam shot from his nose.
"'Cause you're the dead-last and way behind!"
Sasuke dodged Sakura's casual slash with ease, flipped mid-air, and landed upside-down on Naruto's head, one hand propping up his spiky blond hair.
"What the heck are you doing, you smug bastard?!"
Naruto grabbed Sasuke's hand and spun him like a top.
"Hey, Naruto."
Sakura wiped her chin, sheathed the wooden sword at her hip.
"Ah! Sakura-chan~ Morning!"
The second he heard her, Naruto let go—yeeting Sasuke into the air.
The black-haired boy spun like a pinwheel and thunk—headfirst into a tree trunk.
"Nngh… (I'm gonna kill you, Naruto!)"
Sakura laughed at Sasuke struggling, ass-up, hands pushing against the bark. "Haha, you two are so close."
Their bickering reminded her of Shanks and Buggy. She missed the Owl Jackson days.
"I called you here to teach you a special ninjutsu."
"First, the principle: it's a technique that turns willpower and fighting spirit into a physical weapon."
"There are two you can learn. The third depends on talent."
As she explained, an invisible aura gathered around her clenched fist. The pink knuckles turned pitch-black with real Armament Haki.
Thanks to Sasuke—this rare guinea pig—Sakura discovered Haki could be transmitted through chakra links.
In short: turning momentum, killing intent, and fighting spirit into weapons? That's Yin Release in the ninja system.
Sasuke, who learned Haki from Sakura (a legit user), was just using Yin Release to recreate and mimic her Haki.
Simple conclusion: If Sakura teaches Haki in detail and beats the crap out of you enough, anyone can learn it with chakra's idealistic energy.
"So what's the jutsu? Can I finally beat that smug Sasuke?!"
Naruto's smile was so pure, Sakura almost felt bad.
"Of course—if you learn it well."
She dropped the playful act and went full teacher mode.
"First up: a sensory technique. Predict enemy attacks by feeling them. It's called Observation Haki."
"So… dodge my punch. Or you die~"
She tapped the ground lightly with a finger.
No Giant Clan strength. No Boil Release chakra.
Still, a gorgeous fissure ripped through the ground, snaking all the way to Naruto's feet.
The tremor knocked him flat on his ass—literally stuck in the crack.
Then, the 1.8-meter girl loomed over him, blocking the sun.
"Wait—Sakura, what're you— I didn't do anything wrong!"
Naruto flailed, pale as a ghost.
"Of course not. This is for your own good~"
Her sweet smile didn't match the Armament Haki-coated fist crashing down.
BOOM!
Sasuke—still stuck in the tree—froze, then thrashed harder.
"OWWWW!!"
Naruto's scream sent every bird in the forest flying and shook leaves from the trees.
One hour later…
Naruto lay on the ground, head full of lumps, eyes rolled back, sitting on his bruised butt.
"Ten-minute break. Then we continue."
Sakura pulled out a bento and sat under a nice shady tree.
"Heh. Serves him right."
Sasuke finally wriggled free—nose bleeding, hair a mess—and staggered over.
"You're not exactly unscathed either."
Sakura pointed her chopsticks at his patchwork of bruises.
"By the way, what high-level jutsu did you pick from the last mission?"
Sasuke pulled out the bento his mom packed and sat across from her.
"I took Kakashi's Chidori. That idiot picked some spiral thing from the Scroll of Seals."
He said he hated Naruto, but this tsundere cared more about the team's dead-last than anyone.
"Not bad. With Observation Haki and Sharingan, he can cover its flaws."
Sakura popped a meatball in her mouth, eyes sparkling with joy.
After eating, she hauled Naruto up by the collar.
"Time's up! Fun training round two!"
"Wait—Sakura, I haven't eaten yet!"
Naruto raised a trembling hand like a dying old man. His stomach roared.
"Exactly. I need your chakra drained. Why would I let you refuel?"
She gave him a smile that would haunt his nightmares forever.
"No—wait—I—"
The Fist of Love, wrapped in Armament Haki, swung again.
Naruto's screams echoed through the training ground.
Time ticked by. The sun dipped toward the horizon, painting the pink-haired girl in golden light.
Finally, Naruto's wounds stopped regenerating instantly.
Sakura stopped.
"Phew. Done."
She wiped sweat from her brow.
"Sakura… I'm so tired… is training over…?"
Naruto had never felt this exhausted. Every hit drained massive chakra.
Now completely empty, his eyes were dead. He just wanted to collapse.
"What are you talking about? Hitting chakra zero is just the prerequisite for real training!"
A nostalgic glint flashed in her eyes. She and Uncle Rayleigh used to torture each other like this.
She tossed a blindfold at Naruto's feet, snapped a perfect-sized branch from a tree, and swished it.
Sasuke closed his eyes and walked away fast—no way was he reliving that.
"Come on, Naruto-kun. Blindfold on. Real training starts now."
The stick tapped in her hand. In the sunset, her shadow looked like a demon.
Naruto couldn't even run. He screamed:
"Sakura-chan! I'm dry! Not a drop left! Mercy!"
"Da~yo~"
