Chapter 118 - Chapter 118: T- Group

White Tiger Job Centre

Tom Lee sat before Jo Gwigwan, smiling. "Hoho~ The president of Tian Wai Tian himself. You could have informed us—we would have picked you up from the airport."

Jo Gwigwan smiled back. "Haha. Major General, you don't need to worry about that. Instead, I'd like to discuss business directly."

Tom Lee laughed. "Hoho~ Yes, yes. Let's talk business."

Jo Gwigwan began his explanation. "I assume you know that the daughter of T-Group's president is a drug addict. Since drug use in China is punishable by execution, Vivi—the president's daughter—has been staying in South Korea. Recently, the club where she used to supply drugs was busted. I heard your White Tiger Job Centre was involved in this case as well."

Tom Lee smiled. "Hoho~ Perhaps."

Jo Gwigwan shook his head. "There's a large shipment of drugs being moved from South Korea to Vietnam. I want you to sabotage it."

Tom Lee nodded. "What should we do after that? Do you want us to report it to the police?"

Jo Gwigwan laughed. "Haha. Why would I want that? If I did, they'd just get the drugs one way or another. I want you to burn it all down."

Tom Lee narrowed his eyes. "Is this because of what the president of T-Group did during Mr. Pengguan's death?"

Jo Gwigwan smiled. "So, are you going to accept?"

Tom Lee smiled back. "We're willing to do anything for the right price."

Baki was running with a rope wrapped around him. Behind him, the mini food truck of Awful Tteokbokki was also bound to the rope. His speed was 37 km/h. This was Baki's new routine.

Beside him, Johan could be seen jogging as well. Suddenly, Baki's phone rang.

Brrring! Brrring!

Baki answered the call. It was Tom Lee.

"Hello, old man. What made you think of me? Oh, is that so? Yeah, I'm free. Let me do it."

Then he ended the call. "Johan, let's head back. I have work to do."

Johan was breathless. "Huff... Huff... Yeah! Let's do that!"

---

At home, Baki searched through his drawer for a note. After a while, he found a crumpled piece of paper with a number written on it. Baki dialed the number and waited. It rang for a while before someone answered. Before Baki could speak, the person on the other end said,

"How come you remember me after all this time~?"

Baki smiled. "Why? Were you waiting for my call?"

Choi Bongpal snorted. "Why would I wait for your call?! Why did you call me? Tell me quickly. I'm a busy woman now."

Baki laughed. "Haha~ Did the little drug dealer become a big leader now?"

Choi Bongpal snorted. "I'm hanging up!"

Baki quickly shouted, "Wait! Wait! I need your help."

Choi Bongpal smiled on the other end, hearing that Baki needed her help. "What do you need my help for?"

Baki shook his head. "A large shipment of drugs is about to be moved from South Korea to Vietnam. It's related to the Chinese T-Group. Do you know about this?"

Choi Bongpal answered, "I don't. But I can probably find out. Do you want me to?"

Baki nodded. "Yeah. I want you to find out the location."

Choi Bongpal shook her head. "Giving an exact location is impossible. If it's a major shipment, only a few people in South Korea would be responsible. I'll give you the location of a man you should contact. In the meantime, I'll search for it too."

---

Baki was speeding through the road on his bike with Johan behind him. Johan asked, "Where are we going?"

Baki answered, "We're going to the outskirts of Seoul. There's a man we have to meet there."

Half an hour later, they reached a small village-like area. They kept moving through the village until they reached an outdoor bath—the location where they were supposed to meet the man recommended by Choi Bongpal. Baki parked the bike and entered the bath. They encountered a large man with a tattoo on his face.

The tattooed man asked, "Are ya' outsiders? Whatcha' need?"

Baki smiled. "Is Baek Hyeon here today?"

The tattooed man narrowed his eyes. "Are ya' friends with Baek Hyeon? Never seen ya' with him before."

Baki smiled and nodded. "Yes. We're childhood friends. We basically grew up together until 4th grade."

The tattooed man grinned. "Is that so? Good. Very good." Then he grabbed Baki's collar. "Bastard, I've finally got my hands on that bastard's friend."

Johan looked around as several naked men began surrounding them. Baki smiled. "Is there a problem?"

The tattooed man smiled. "Problem? Yes! There's a huge problem! That fucker scammed us and ran away with our money!!"

Baki smiled nervously. "Is that so? I didn't quite expect something like this. Will you believe me if I say I lied before?"

The tattooed man punched at Baki's face. Baki shook his head. "Thought so."
