Just before Warren was about to be slammed into the wall, Tom Lee was sent flying back. Baki appeared before Warren. "Kid, what the heck are you doing here?!"
Warren was stunned to see Baki. "B-Baki-hyung?! What are you doing here?!"
Baki answered, "It's my job. My company manages security here."
Suddenly, a massive claw slashed toward Baki. He twisted his torso at the last moment, grabbed Warren, and pulled him aside. A deep claw mark appeared on the concrete wall. Tom Lee gritted his teeth and demanded, "Baki! What are you doing?!"
Baki's face turned serious. "This kid is under my protection. You can do whatever you want, but I won't let you harm him."
Veins bulged on Tom Lee's face. "Is that so?! Well, well~ It seems Manager Kim has been a bad influence on you. I'll forgive you this once. But don't ever repeat this mistake again."
With that, he picked up Alexander Hwang and walked toward Samuel. He leaned close to Samuel with Alexander on his shoulder and whispered something.
Samuel adjusted his glasses and fixed his hair. Then he looked at Daniel. "Daniel Park. Thank you."
Alexander Hwang cried for help, but Samuel walked away. "Alexander. No hard feelings. It's just that I was offered a new goal... when I had nothing to live for."
Daniel shouted at Tom Lee, "There are people being held on a hidden floor. Do you know how to get there?"
Tom Lee drank his soju. "They've already been moved out."
Daniel demanded, "Where?!"
Tom Lee finished his drink and smiled. "To the third affiliate."
Daniel's anger flared. He lunged at Tom Lee. "Oh... to the third affiliate... So you're one of them?!"
But Tom Lee sent Daniel flying back with a punch to his face. "Kid. I'm a little pissed off now." He grabbed Daniel by the neck and lifted him up. Daniel threw a punch at Tom Lee's face. Tom Lee sighed, "Thirteen-year-olds these days–" Daniel landed another punch, then struck him in the face with his knee, but Tom Lee continued, "–have no respect for their elders."
With that, he slammed Daniel into the ground, creating a crater, all while keeping Alexander Hwang balanced on his shoulder.
"Forget about what happened here today. Forget about the captives. Just consider it bad luck."
Tom Lee started to walk away. "But if you still want to save them, just offer me more money."
Meanwhile, Warren explained everything to Baki. Baki understood that the two runaway girls had been captured by the 4th affiliate. He sighed, "Kid, I told you guys to stay there for free. Now you had to disobey me and get into this mess."
Suddenly, Baki's instincts screamed a warning. He looked back and saw the other kid Tom Lee had beaten starting to wake up, his eyes rolling back. In an instant, Tom Lee appeared before him and kicked him in the face, knocking him down once again.
Warren called out, "Hyung, what happened? Why are you grinning like that?"
Baki touched his face. It had morphed into a devious grin without him realizing it. His fighting instincts had been aroused. He walked toward Tom Lee. "Warren, don't worry. The kids will return home tonight."
Tom Lee watched Baki approach. He grinned. "Brat~ What's this about?"
Baki sighed. "Old man, how much money?"
"For what?"
"For the kids. I have two of mine there. I want them back."
Tom Lee smiled. "You can't afford it, Baki. You can't top the client's payment."
Baki sighed. "Is that so? Even if I give you all the money I have?"
Tom Lee laughed. "No. Even if you gave me everything you have, you couldn't. But there is a way. Five years. Work for me for free. Sign a contract and I'll let the girls go."
Baki covered his face. His body trembled. He tried to stifle a laugh, but he couldn't.
"...kh... khkhkh... heh... hehehe... HAHA... HAHAHAHAHAA—AHAHAHAHA!! Old man, are you trying to pick a fight with me? I'm not old man Kim—I won't accept such an absurd deal. I can just take them from you."
Tom Lee smiled. "Can you, though~?"
