Baki sat on a couch surrounded by hostesses. The entire hallway was littered with bodies.
A man wearing a bandana walked over the bodies, followed by another man wearing a cap. They were the two heads of Area 1: Shin Arim and Min Jihoon.
Shin Arim said, "Who the fuck did all this?"
Min Jihoon put his hand on his chin and smiled. "He must have done this knowing he'd get killed, right?"
They kicked open the door. Inside, a red-haired man sat surrounded by hostesses. They barked at the women, "Get the fuck outta here."
The hostesses scrambled away. Baki slowly stood and stretched. "Kids, aren't you too young to be here?"
Shin Arim positioned himself in front of Baki. Baki smiled. "Since you're just kids, I'll go easy on you, 'kay?"
Shin Arim took a boxing stance and threw a jab at Baki's face. Baki easily dodged it. Shin Arim threw a flurry of punches. Baki dodged everything with a grin. While dodging, he looked at Min Jihoon. "Kid, join in. It's too boring this way. Spice it up a little bit, yeah?"
Min Jihoon joined and threw a kick. Baki mused, "Kickboxing? Good."
Both Shin Arim and Min Jihoon attacked Baki with everything they had. They were so fast that a normal person could barely perceive what they were doing. But Baki had his eyes closed. Suddenly, he opened them, his face turning to a wide grin.
Before Shin Arim could even perceive the change, Baki smashed his fist toward him.
Shin Arim used a shoulder roll to deflect the attack. "Hmph! Just dodging won't make you w–"
Before he could finish his thought, his shoulder was smashed and he was sent crashing into a wall. The wall shattered from the impact.
Seeing this, Min Jihoon backed off. His eyes widened in fear. He shouted, "WHO A–"
Sadly for him, he couldn't manage to ask Baki's identity as a side punch smashed into his ribs, sending him crashing into another wall.
A blond and silver-haired duo walked in—the number 5 and number 6 of Jinrang's gang: Do Jaegwang and Song Hashik.
Do Jaegwang muttered, "Are our guys weak, or is this guy stronger? Looks like we have to train them harder."
Baki laughed. "You want these kids to stand against me? That's some delusional shit! Hahaha! I heard you guys were supposed to be stronger than the kings. Is it because you exchanged brain for brawn? Hahahaha!"
Do Jaegwang rushed at Baki and threw a straight punch. But he was sent flying back, blood splattering from his nose.
"You sure have a boring fist," Baki said.
Do Jaegwang was shocked. "What just hit me? I couldn't even see it!" He got up and rushed in again, but another punch smashed his face.
Seeing this, Song Hashik also joined Do Jaegwang. He threw a kick at Baki, but Baki grabbed it and started to squeeze. Song Hashik's face twisted from pain. Do Jaegwang rushed in once again, but Baki slammed Song Hashik onto him. The two fell backwards.
They got up again. "Who sent you?"
Baki laughed. "I'm here to see your leader."
Their faces became serious and they rushed in again. A flurry of punches and kicks landed on Baki, but Baki's stance didn't break. Baki laughed. "Are you guys imitating Taesoo Ma and Gongseob Ji? If so, don't bother. You're not on their level yet."
Saying this, Baki dashed forward and rapidly hit Do Jaegwang with a series of punches, finishing with an uppercut that sent him crashing into a table.
Song Hashik rushed in, but Baki delivered a punch to his face and followed up with a gut punch. Without releasing him, Baki tossed him to the other side onto Do Jaegwang.
Both of them got up one final time and rushed at Baki with their fists. Baki mused, "Gold and Silver fists? Is that a prosthetic limb?"
Baki also rushed forward and met their fists with his own.
BOOM!!!
A massive sound resounded through the room. When the dust cleared, Do Jaegwang and Song Hashik were smashed into a wall. They looked at their Gold and Silver fists. The fists were deformed by Baki's punch—literally flattened. "Did he just flatten steel with one punch?!"
Suddenly, someone slashed at Baki with a claw. But Baki vanished from the spot. The man wearing claws looked around in confusion. "Huh? Where did the guy go?"
Before he could think more, a kick landed on his back and he was smashed into a wall. He groaned in pain. Before he could do anything else, another massive punch connected to his face. Then another, then another, one after one until he fell unconscious.
Baki sighed. "Damn! Why the fuck are you guys wearing cosmetics? What's up with steel fists and claws? Is it a fashion show or something?!"
A massive bear-like man wearing a blue suit entered the room. It was Jungseok Hwang, the number 3 of Jinrang's gang.
He glanced at his fallen comrades and then at Baki. "Who are you?"
Baki answered, "I'm Baki Hanma. Are you Jinrang?"
Jungseok Hwang shook his head. "I'm not. I'm the number 3 of Jinrang's gang, Jungseok Hwang. Why do you want to meet Jinrang hyung?"
Baki smiled. "I want to have a friendly exchange."
Jungseok Hwang shook his head. "That's not possible. Fight me instead."
Baki shook his head worriedly. "At least let me me–"
Before he could finish his words, a gigantic punch rushed at his face. He managed to block it, but the impact sent him skidding back. "His physical strength—it's immense! His punch feels like I'm being slammed with a massive sledgehammer. It's... It's maddening! I'm liking this!"
More punches came. Baki used Iron Fortress and absorbed them. The room shook from the impacts. Jungseok Hwang grabbed Baki and hit him with a headbutt three times, but Baki's expression didn't change. He grabbed Baki, switched sides with him, and delivered a hook to his chest. Still nothing happened.
Jungseok Hwang slid forward and delivered an uppercut with his leading fist. Baki crouched and performed a simple dash, delivering a downward hook. Jungseok Hwang threw a stomach-aimed sucker punch with his leading fist and launched himself forward into the air with a flying headbutt. But Baki dodged all of them.
Then they began to exchange blow for blow. A wide grin appeared on Baki's face. Baki dashed and grabbed Jungseok Hwang, starting with a gut punch. Baki then delivered two punches with both fists to Jungseok Hwang's temples. Jungseok Hwang managed to land a hook on Baki's face during this.
A small amount of blood dripped from Baki's nose, whereas Jungseok Hwang's entire face was smashed. Baki muttered, "No more playing around. Let's finish it."
Baki grabbed Jungseok Hwang and struck him with two gut punches, finishing with a third punch that sent him violently flying. Baki cracked his neck. "It was fun. But if it's just physical strength, I have plenty of it."
Saying this, he started to leave. Suddenly, Jungseok Hwang spoke up. "Don't... leave... I... am not... defeated yet!"
Baki smiled. "Jungseok Hwang, you've earned my respect. For you, I will perform one of the strongest attacks I know."
Baki first leaned his upper body forward, putting his right leg back and clenching both fists. Then his body sprang toward Jungseok Hwang. The man was blasted through the wall to the next room's wall and blasted through that one too, stopping at the third wall.
"How?! He's like Jinrang hyung!!"[1]
A scream of pain tried to escape from Jungseok Hwang, but he gritted his teeth and tried to stand up. "I need to get up. But my body won't listen to me!"
Baki's figure appeared in front of him. What Baki did next wasn't something Jungseok Hwang expected. He extended his hand toward Jungseok and said, "A strong man such as yourself should always be standing straight."
Saying this, he pulled him up.
[1] He is talking about Conviction Punch. But Baki actually doesn't know Conviction attacks. It's just that he is so strong that Jungseok Hwang misunderstood.
