Half a month later, under Ji Xinba's guidance and training, Yang Xiao-kun's physical fitness hadn't improved much, but his practical combat experience and skills had increased significantly.
Originally, his Holy Light was at LV1, but now it had been upgraded to LV2. However, reaching LV3 would take time; it wasn't something achievable in a day or two.
Even reaching LV2 had taken Yang Xiao-kun nearly a year of his own training, without relying on external objects or aids.
It was on this day that Yang Xiao-kun sensed trouble approaching: the U.A. High School USJ Incident was about to begin, and he would soon encounter the League of Villains.
An hour later, fully prepared, Yang Xiao-kun headed to U.A. High School. He had previously acquired an alarm signal device from Wu Shiyin, meaning that even if the League of Villains blocked the signal within the USJ facility later, he could still send one out.
This was a precaution for if his life was in danger, needing to alert the outside world. Of course, it wouldn't be to the Poshi House; Yang Xiao-kun wouldn't let them get involved in the USJ Incident. Instead, he would alert the Police Department and Pro Heroes.
"Today's Foundational Hero Studies will be supervised by me, All Might, and one other teacher, making it a three-person instruction team," Shota Aizawa said lazily, as usual, looking at everyone.
"Question, what will we be doing?" Sero Hanta asked, raising his hand.
Shota Aizawa nodded, "Good question!" He then pulled out a sign from his pocket and said to everyone, "It's rescue training for various accidents like natural disasters, shipwrecks, and so on."
"Wow, that sounds tough," Kaminari Denki said, a bit flustered. "I wonder if I'll pass."
"You idiot, this is a hero's main job, isn't it?" Eijiro Kirishima said excitedly. "I'm already eager to try."
"If it's a flood, then it's my stage alone," Tsuyu Asui said, as she specialized in water, being a frog girl after all.
"Hey, I'm not finished yet," Shota Aizawa interrupted everyone's discussion. "For this session, you can choose your costumes based on your own judgment. After all, some are likely designed for specific activities. The training ground is a bit far from here, so we'll take a bus. That's all. Start preparing."
Yang Xiao-kun only had one training uniform to choose from, the one that made the light intensity even more dazzling.
Yang Xiao-kun didn't know if he could get through this trip to the USJ. He could only pray that the League of Villains wouldn't bring too many variables.
"Oh, Midoriya-kun, are you wearing your gym clothes?" Ochaco Uraraka walked over from the side. At this moment, all the students of Hero Course Class A were gathered outside the school building, preparing to leave.
"They got torn up during the battle training before. I have to wait for the support company to repair them before I can use them."
"Beep beep!"
Just as Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka were chatting, Tenya Iida suddenly blew his whistle: "Class 1-A, assemble! To board the bus in an orderly fashion, please line up in two rows according to your student numbers."
"Iida-kun is really full of energy," Izuku Midoriya chuckled.
"That's why he's the most suitable class representative; your choice was correct," Yang Xiao-kun said, walking over and patting Izuku Midoriya's shoulder.
"Ah, Yang Xiao-kun," Izuku Midoriya smiled when he saw Yang Xiao-kun arrive. "Your clothes are very cool."
"Yours too. Let's get on the bus," Yang Xiao-kun said with a smile.
After all the students boarded the bus, it started moving. Tenya Iida then realized the bus seating wasn't arranged as he had imagined, but rather face-to-face.
This left him very embarrassed.
Yang Xiao-kun sat alone at the very back of the bus, appearing calm on the surface but actually extremely nervous inside. Soon, he would be facing the legendary League of Villains, and he wondered if there would be any unexpected changes.
Strictly speaking, this world had already been altered somewhat. Himiko Toga had not joined the League of Villains, but instead chose to join the Poshi House.
So, would there be any changes within the League of Villains?
"No!"
Yang Xiao-kun suddenly remembered that at this point in time, the League of Villains only consisted of a few people. Neither Dabi, Muscular, nor Magne had joined yet. Therefore, Himiko Toga had been recruited by Yang Xiao-kun in advance.
This meant the League of Villains would be one person short.
At this moment, the conversations on the bus were very harmonious, but then the bus stopped. It seemed they had arrived.
"Students, I've been waiting for you," a person dressed in a spacesuit-like outfit stood before everyone at the entrance of the USJ facility.
"Wow, it's the Space Hero, Thirteen!" Izuku Midoriya immediately exclaimed. "A very gentlemanly hero who performs exceptionally well at disaster relief sites."
"I really like Thirteen," Ochaco Uraraka said excitedly.
Clearly, everyone was excited and knew about this Pro Hero, but only Yang Xiao-kun felt nothing significant. This Thirteen was very likely female, but Yang Xiao-kun truly didn't know what she looked like.
Right now, he didn't have time for such random thoughts. The League of Villains would arrive shortly after they entered, before the simulated training even began, leaving no time for contemplation.
However, he wouldn't act on his own initiative. He would first observe the number of enemies from the League of Villains before deciding on his next plan.
"Let's hurry inside," Thirteen said, pointing towards the USJ facility.
"Please take care of us!" the students said in unison.
Then Yang Xiao-kun and the others went inside, and the students were all very excited when they saw the facilities within the USJ.
"This is amazing, is this the USJ?" Eijiro Kirishima looked around like a curious child.
The surroundings were like a themed park, with various disaster scenario areas, though it looked like an advanced, professional training version.
"Flood accidents, landslide disasters, fires, storms, and so on. This is a training ground I created, simulating all kinds of accidents and disasters. Its name is the Unforeseen Simulation Joint," Thirteen explained continuously, finally waving a hand, "or simply, the [USJ]."
"Thirteen, where's All Might? Didn't we agree to meet here?" Shota Aizawa asked, walking over after Thirteen finished her introduction. He still hadn't seen All Might.
Thirteen walked a few steps forward and whispered to Shota Aizawa, "Sir, it seems… he used his quirk to its limit on the way to work and is currently resting in the lounge."
"That's quite unreasonable, isn't it?" Shota Aizawa sighed, but this was also a necessary precaution. "No choice then, let's begin."
