Chapter 48 - A small village and a fateful encounter. (Part 1)

(Internet is back up; they finally fixed it. I will try to get back into the upload routine once more. Please bear with it. It's been one of those draining weeks. But lucky me, I get $25 off this month's internet bill. But who knows if they will shaft me out of that? I will be getting back to the number of chapters starting Monday. As my writing habits have taken a hit.)

Making my way towards a small village of a few thousand to stay the night. Walking into the village, I came across an old man. "Sir, do you know where I can find an inn for the night?" I asked.

The old man looked at me and smiled. "If you go that way, about ten buildings down, you will see a building that is red with red cloth over a doorway. That place has rooms for rent." He said with a sly smile, making me raise an eyebrow as I smiled.

"Thank you, sir," I said before turning and walking towards the way he said. As I walked towards the building, I stopped noticing a woman with three others. I didn't think I would meet another one so soon. Yugito Nii, the host of the two tails, was looking at an item before she stopped and looked towards my way. Both of ours locked on each other as she lowered her hood and whispered to the others.

I started walking towards the place and arrived a few minutes later. I could hear women laughing along with drunk men shouting. Smirking as I knew what kind of place this was, the old man hooked a brother up as I walked through the curtains, seeing two women in loose-fitting kimonos.

"Oh my, what is a young ninja doing here?" One of them said, swaying over as I smiled, speaking. "I heard I could get a room to rent for the night here," I replied to the lady, who nodded.

"You can, but it can be costly." The other one said with a seductive smile on her face as I nodded. "How much?" I asked her.

"$300 for yourself, but $700 if you want someone to keep you company during the night." She said while moving a finger along my shoulder. I smiled as I pulled out 700 while speaking. "Can I take a look at my options for a companion for tonight?"

"Right this way, paying customer." She said. Walking behind her, I could tell her ass was pretty big; she wasn't bad looking. But I wanted to see what other options were on the menu before I pick.

We entered the building, and I was guided to a room where women of all ages were seated on pillow-like seats. Oh, it was going to be hard to pick from this menu, I could already tell. As I started walking down the line of women, they would flash their eyes and loosen their clothing until I stopped at a group of girls my age.

They looked shy, and some looked depressed as I stopped in front of a girl who looked sad, and she raised her head. "Why are these girls in a different area than the others?" I asked the lady who had been leading me.

"They are girls that had just gotten down with training, and haven't lost their virginities yet. They are more expensive than the other girls. If you want one of them, that will cost you another $400." She explained.

"What is your name?" I asked the girl before, she looked me up and down before finally speaking to me.

"Kyō Shimizu." She said in a low voice as I reached into my pocket and withdrew $400, giving it to her. "I want you to spend the night with me," I said, making the girl blush, as this was going to be her first night with someone.

The woman who had guided me looked at Kyō gently and smiled. It was a good thing someone her own age had picked her over an old man taking her for the first time. There had been an old man eyeing her, but he didn't have the money to pay for her.

"Kyō, will you show this gentleman to his room?" She spoke. Kyō blushed and nodded as she stood up and spoke.

"Please follow me, sir," Kyō said as she sauntered in front of me. Her kimono was somewhat tight, hugging her body, with the shoulder part just at the edge of her shoulders, opening the top to reveal a silk wrap around her chest.

Kyō stopped in front of a room and opened the sliding door as she beckoned me inside. Walking into the room, she bowed before speaking. "Sir, would you like some drinks and food?" She asked me.

"Yes, please," I said as she backed away slowly before closing the door and leaving. So I could sleep with a cute girl like her tonight. But I was more focused on the fact that Yugtio Nii was in this town.

Having the chance to kidnap the host of the two tails and add her to my harem was worth not teleporting right away. I needed a way to find her, so I used my Senrigan to find her resting in an abandoned house. What they were doing in the Land of Fire didn't matter to me. What did matter was how I was going to deal with her and the people with her.

As I was in deep thought, the door opened and Kyō walked in holding a tray of drinks, which seemed to be alcohol. "The food will take some time. But please enjoy the Sake for now." She said while placing it on the table as I moved away from the window and walked towards the pillow seat, taking my seat on it.

Kyō sat down next to me and poured a glass for me as I spoke. "Why would someone as young as you and as cute as you be in this place?" I asked, making her pause before speaking.

"My father had a gambling problem, and sold me off to pay part of it. My mother died when she gave birth to me, so I have no other family willing to help my father, as he burned those bridges a while back." She said as she handed me the glass.

I see, it's a familiar story of a parent failing their child. "How much do you owe for your freedom?" I asked as I took the glass from her. She looked down at the other cup in her hand before speaking. "I owe the Mistress, $15,000 for my freedom." She said with sadness in her voice.

That's a lot of money for someone her age to get, even with the money I paid for her, which would equal only $700. It would take her about 21 payments to pay off her debt. I pulled her closer, "Enough of the sad talk, why don't we get to know each other better, Kyō?" Trying to lighten the mood as she nodded and took a gulp of Sake.

"Enough about me, are you a Shinobi?" She asked, looking at the headband. Kyō has seen them only a few times, but she has never seen one so young before. I nodded my head as I spoke.

"Yes, and I am one of the best!" I proclaimed as I drank some of the Sake she had poured for me. Kyō let out a small laugh at my arrogant proclamation.
