Chapter 95 - Chapter 95: Successful Enrollment

Chapter 95: Successful Enrollment

Zhao Wuji looked at Tang San as he pulled out his hammer, a hint of disdain on his face. What hammer could possibly block my iron fist? Do you think you're the Haotian Hammer?

When the fist collided with the hammer, the expected feeling of breaking didn't come. Instead, a powerful backlash force was transferred to his fist.

It was as if the fist had a mind of its own, heading straight for Zhao Wuji 's face.

"Boom!" Zhao Wuji was sent flying several dozen meters away by the force.

Tang San was also stunned by the impact.

Dai Mubai and Oscar's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. Tang San actually managed to hurt Zhao Wuji .

"Spit."

After a while, Zhao Wuji stood up and spat out a mouthful of blood. He looked at the distant Tang San and didn't know what to say.

With his anger nowhere to go, he glared at Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong, who were nearby.

Ning Rongrong immediately felt the hairs on her body stand on end.

"Rongrong, stay away."

"Huh? Xiao Wu, are we still fighting? Shouldn't we just admit defeat? He's a Soul Saint, too shameless."

Xiao Wu didn't say anything. Instead, she smiled and pointed at the incense that was almost burnt out.

Ning Rongrong immediately understood her sister's intention and grinned. She then squatted down, exploding into a sprint towards the distance, her speed so fast it would make Su Bingtian cry and Usain Bolt feel defeated.

Zhao Wuji didn't bother with the fleeing Ning Rongrong and instead rubbed his fists before charging straight at Xiao Wu.

"Now it's just you, little rabbit."

Xiao Wu didn't engage him head-on. She took out the Revitalization Pill and the Vitality Recovery Pill Ning Bei had given her and stuffed them into her mouth, beginning her "dog-walking"... uh, I mean, bear-walking action.

As soon as Zhao Wuji got close, Xiao Wu instantly teleported to a hundred meters away. She repeated this process until the incense burned out, and Zhao Wuji never managed to touch a single hair on her.

Frustrated, the giant bear scratched its head in frustration.

"Hahaha... Haha... Old... Teacher, look over there."

Gasping for breath, Xiao Wu pointed to the incense that had completely burned out.

"We... should have passed, right?"

Zhao Wuji looked at the incense ashes on the ground, his face displaying a look of helplessness, and then waved his hand.

"Fine, you passed. Mubai, take them to arrange for their accommodation."

With that, he walked off into the distance, utterly embarrassed.

Dai Mubai and Oscar exchanged glances, surprised that these juniors had actually lasted a full incense stick against Zhao Wuji .

Ning Rongrong ran back to Xiao Wu and gave her a bear hug.

"You're too heavy, Xiao Wu."

"Hehe, just average, third place in the Seven Treasures."

The sisters walked over to Zhu Zhuqing, and Rongrong tossed a jade bottle to her.

"Jie Zhu, this is a healing pill from the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect. Take it, it'll help you recover faster."

Zhu Zhuqing took the bottle and nodded. The Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect's pills were famous among the mercenaries, and even in the Star Luo Empire, she had heard of them.

"Thank you."

After thanking her, Xiao Cat swallowed the pill in one gulp, and her injuries visibly started to heal.

Xiao Wu looked at her sister with confusion.

"Rongrong, how did you know she's the older sister, not the younger one?"

Ning Rongrong didn't say anything. She glanced down at her own chest, then looked at Xiao Wu's.

Xiao Wu was momentarily confused, looking down at her chest and then glancing at Xiao Cat.

Then, she realized it. Alright, she was the older sister, no doubt.

"Hey, color old tiger, that guy over there is your responsibility, and then take me to enroll."

Xiao Wu waved at Dai Mubai, and that nickname made him frown, though he couldn't find a reason to refute it.

Reluctantly, he walked over to Tang San, picked him up, and headed towards the village.

"Follow me."

Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong also came over to Zhu Zhuqing, helping her up from either side.

"Jie Zhu, what do you eat every day?"

"Yeah, yeah, you're even bigger than Sister Yan."

Zhu Zhuqing looked at the two girls in confusion.

"What are you two talking about?"

Before they could answer, Xiao Cat noticed their gazes always lingering on her impressive figure. She immediately understood what they meant, and her face turned slightly red.

"I don't know, it just grew this big on its own. Actually, being too big is not ideal; it affects balance."

Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong rolled their eyes at her "humblebrag."

"Full stomachs don't know the hunger of the hungry."

The three of them followed the "color old tiger" to a dilapidated village.

"Xiao Wu, I have a bad feeling about this."

Rongrong looked at the dilapidated house in front of them, glancing at her sister with disgust.

Xiao Wu nodded, agreeing with her.

"Me too."

Xiao Cat said nothing, but the frown on her face made it clear she wasn't happy with the environment.

Sure enough, after entering the village, Dai Mubai looked back at the three girls.

"This is where you'll be staying from now on. There are still plenty of rooms; you can stay together or separately."

Ning Rongrong looked at him unwillingly.

"Can we live in such a broken house? This academy is too poor. Do you live here too?"

A gleam of smugness flashed in Dai Mubai's eyes.

"Are you kidding? With so many hotels and ladies in Soto City, why would I live here in such a broken academy?"

Before he could finish, Dai Mubai suddenly remembered something and realized his mistake. He glanced at Xiao Cat, who was giving him the death stare.

Zhu Zhuqing, enraged by Dai Mubai's words, trembled. "I'm getting beaten every day in the Star Luo Empire, and you're living it up here? Living in a broken academy and having a good time?"

If looks could kill, Dai Mubai's sentence would have lasted as long as Ning Bei's seventh soul ring.

Dai Mubai quickly realized he was in trouble and hurriedly walked away.

"Uh, I'll take Tang San to his room, and then I'll come back to introduce the academy to you."

"Tch, color old tiger."

"Let's go, Rongrong. Let's check out the rooms, and if they're not good, we can always go to Soto City to stay."

"That's the only choice."

"Jie Zhu, what are you doing? Come on!"

Hearing her sisters' call, the sad Xiao Cat finally calmed herself and followed.

Ning Bei saw there was no more gossip to be had, and since the commotion during the day had been too big, he didn't plan to leave just yet.

He had always been on guard for Tang Hao's sudden outburst. However, it seemed Tang Hao also understood that as long as Rongrong and Xiao Wu were around, he couldn't leave, so he wasn't in a hurry to act.

However, he still felt the mental energy from Tang Hao constantly covering him, as if afraid Ning Bei would escape and release the news of the Haotian Hammer's appearance early.

A cold smile crossed Ning Bei's heart. He wanted to see just how long Tang Hao could hold out.

With Ah Bao , Big Ming, Second Ming, and not to mention the nearly 100,000-year-level Ah Zhu and Bibi Dong, if Tang Hao dared to make a move, he'd shatter his hammer.

After resting for a while, the few who had been through the battle slowly woke up from hunger.

Xiao Wu and the others walked out of the wooden house and called Dai Mubai out from the boys' dormitory.

"Color old tiger, where's the cafeteria? We're hungry!"

Dai Mubai walked out slowly with Tang San, who had just regained consciousness.

"Let's go, I'll take you there."
