Chapter 90: Plotting with Tang Dazhu
"There's a mosquito, can I just slap it?"
Flender immediately thought of something he wasn't sure whether to say.
"Spirit Douluo, it's my fault, please spare me. The crystal can be considered as my apology."
Seeing Flender's reaction, Ning Bei silently nodded, recognizing him as someone who knew when to bend and when to stand firm.
"Are you trying to sound like me? It's perfectly normal to pay for things. One Gold Soul Coin, no objections, right?"
"No, no, you can take it, as you wish."
Flender secretly breathed a sigh of relief. What kind of rich young master came to mess with him today?
He quickly handed back all the coin pouches that had been thrown at him.
Ning Bei glanced at the coin pouches in Flender's hands but didn't take them.
"Keep it. There will be two little girls coming to your school soon. Consider this a donation to your academy."
Flender froze for a moment, thinking to himself, "You clearly know me, is this the strange humor of rich people?"
"Which two young ladies are you talking about, sir?"
Ning Bei waved his hand.
"The two most arrogant ones. You'll know when you meet them."
With that, Ning Bei put the sheet metal away and left the shop.
Flender was left confused.
"Arrogant? How can two little girls be arrogant?"
Not bothering with Flender anymore, Ning Bei directly went to a luxurious hotel, the Rose Hotel.
It wasn't because he wanted to experience an ocean paradise; rather, this was part of Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School's properties.
When the hotel manager saw the token Ning Bei presented, it was as if he had seen his own father.
"Sir, how are you here? I'll take care of everything right away."
The manager knew the drill—he had dealt with wealthy people before.
"No need to trouble yourself. Just prepare a room for me and bring some food over."
"Yes, sir. I'll get everything ready right away."
Ning Bei followed the manager up to the second floor, where the manager respectfully handed him the room key and said, "If you need anything, feel free to let me know," before leaving.
Just as Ning Bei was about to open the door, a woman dressed in black, covered in wounds, arrived on the second floor.
The woman had an impressive figure, but her bloodstained body made her appear quite disheveled.
Upon seeing Ning Bei, she immediately became wary.
"Zhu Zhuqing? What a coincidence, you arrived pretty early!"
Ning Bei thought to himself that it was indeed quite a coincidence but didn't say anything more. He opened the door and walked in.
Upon hearing the door close, Zhu Zhuqing let out a slight sigh of relief. She staggered to the door of her room and entered.
Inside his room, Ning Bei thought that she must have just escaped after being chased by her sister, using all her strength to get here. But the little girl seemed to have made a mistake—soon the old pervert might come for her, and things could get interesting.
He glanced around the room and noted the décor. It was exactly the type he expected. He wasn't sure if meeting that person here was the right choice.
Not long after, the hotel manager arrived with a cart full of food and began explaining the dishes, the ingredients, and the preparation process.
When Ning Bei opened the lid to see the food, he smirked. The "Michelin three-star" vibe was strong.
Don't ask about the vibe, just three words: "Not enough food."
He waved the manager off and began eating.
"Even a mosquito is still meat."
After finishing his meal, Ning Bei decided to go check the surroundings, looking for the perfect spot to carry out his next plan.
Just as he stepped out of the room, the door across from him also opened. The black-clad woman walked out and, upon seeing Ning Bei, froze for a moment. Her face quickly regained its usual cold wariness.
She looked much better than before. Her tattered clothes had been replaced, and she no longer appeared as battered.
"What's going on? Am I following her now?"
Ning Bei thought it was really too much of a coincidence but didn't talk to Zhu Zhuqing. He went straight downstairs and left the hotel.
Once outside the hotel, Ning Bei began to scan the area. After a short time, he found a remote forest behind Shrek Academy.
"Seems like that bear must've gotten beaten here. Well, this place works."
Next, Ning Bei wandered around the outskirts of the forest. After marking the spots, the sky began to darken. He didn't linger, heading back to the hotel room to start cultivating.
While cultivating, he awaited the arrival of someone.
After some time, the scenery outside darkened, and it was clear that night had arrived.
Suddenly, a voice came from the windowsill of his room.
"You sure know how to enjoy yourself!"
Hearing the arrival of the person he was waiting for, Ning Bei stopped cultivating and looked over.
Long pink hair poked out from beneath a black hood. It was none other than Bibi Dong.
"Our esteemed Pope has arrived? Good job, good job. Come on, take a seat."
With that, he pulled out a soft chair and patted it.
Bibi Dong ignored his teasing, removed her hood, and sat down on the sofa. She opened a bottle of red wine, poured herself a glass, and took a small sip.
Swinging her jeweled high heels in a regular rhythm, her beautiful eyes locked onto Ning Bei.
Her flawless face showed traces of fatigue. After handling a full day's affairs, she hadn't had time to rest before receiving Ning Bei's letter. She had immediately rushed to Soto City after arranging matters with the Spirit Hall, thinking that the three-year period was almost up.
"Ready to make a move? Are you confident?"
Ning Bei smiled and teased, "I wasn't confident at all, but now that you've arrived, I feel much better."
"Mm?"
"Uh, forget it, you're not old."
Bibi Dong didn't linger on the subject. Her fingers, without a wine glass, gently tapped the armrest of the sofa.
"You said that the father and son have the luck of the Douluo Continent. Do you think we can succeed if we act directly?"
Ning Bei understood what she meant. Bibi Dong was worried that acting directly might alert them, and then Big Hammer and Little Hammer would escape and hide for decades, becoming a future problem.
"If we act, there's definitely a risk of failure. But what if they act first?"
"Mm? You want Tang Hao to make the first move against you, and then we'll deal with him?"
"Exactly!"
"Is that possible? They've been hiding for over ten years. Besides poisoning a few of the Spirit Hall's sub-branches, they've been completely invisible."
Bibi Dong had a puzzled expression, not understanding what method Ning Bei planned to use to provoke Tang Hao into attacking him.
"If an unknown person finds out that his son is the owner of the Haotian Hammer, do you think he might come and squash him?"
Bibi Dong thought for a while and confirmed Ning Bei's idea.
"It's indeed possible. After all, when I first met you, I also thought you were just an ant that could be crushed easily, but the result..."
Well, never mind.
Thinking of this, a slight blush appeared on Bibi Dong's fair face.
Ning Bei nodded in agreement.
"Exactly, if the Shura God has protected them, helping them avoid danger multiple times, then it should be fine if we wait for them to make a move."
"As long as you have a plan. Tell me, how are we going to do this?"
"You don't need to worry about the rest. Just don't stay too close. If Tang Hao senses your aura and runs, just wait until you see lightning flashing near the village outside the city. Then, you can head over."
Bibi Dong furrowed her brows, feeling like she wasn't very involved.
"Is it really that simple?"
"Don't think it's that hard. If it doesn't work, I've still got the Black Dragon from the sky! As the first one to experience this move, who else has more say than me?"
Bibi Dong, after hearing Ning Bei, remembered the towering dragon body that blocked the sky and couldn't help but shiver. She then darkened her face.
"Don't bring that up again, or I'll fight you."
The teeth-gritting voice made Ning Bei laugh. She was just like the little angel—cut from the same mold.
