"Fire Release: Fireball Jutsu!"

A fireball surged forward, hurtling toward Neji.

With no time to be shocked, Neji dove to the left, trying to evade the fireball.

But Kagaya had already said he was putting all his chakra into these few seconds. While his chakra reserves weren't vast, they were more than enough for a single Fireball Jutsu.

Chakra gathered at his feet—Body Flicker Technique!

In an instant, Kagaya appeared to Neji's left, forming hand signs again.

Snake–Ram–Monkey–Boar–Horse–Tiger.

"Fire Release: Fireball Jutsu!"

Two fireballs converged on Neji!

Having just dodged to the left, Neji was caught off-balance, his momentum still carrying him. With no way to shift direction, he was truly trapped with nowhere to escape!

"Stop!!"

Iruka shouted, using the Body Flicker Technique to vanish from his spot.

The next moment, the two fireballs collided, unleashing a massive wave of flames that stunned the watching students. Some turned and fled in panic—there were no protective barriers on the training field, and the fireballs could easily have reached the crowd. If Kagaya hadn't deliberately controlled their trajectory to make them collide, the students would've been in serious danger. And so would Kagaya.

Others were so terrified they sat on the ground, crying. A slightly larger flame could've reached them.

Meanwhile, Iruka reappeared in his original spot, with Hyuga Neji in tow. Though Kagaya was panting heavily and Neji was unscathed, everyone knew who had won and who had lost. If Iruka hadn't intervened, Neji's fate would've been grim.

Neji understood this too. He stared at Kagaya in shock, unable to believe that a junior, a year younger, had not only mastered ninjutsu but a nature-transformed one at that!

"The winner: Uchiha Kagaya!" Iruka announced, staring at Kagaya with disbelief.

Among the onlookers, a boy with thick eyebrows locked his gaze on Kagaya, as if committing him to memory. "Uchiha Kagaya, huh? I'll remember you. One day, I'll challenge you too—and I'll defeat you!" With that, he turned and left.

Sasuke shouted excitedly, "As expected of Kagaya!"

In the Hokage's office, the Third Hokage sighed and turned off the crystal ball. "Looks like Iruka will soon come to discuss something with me."

This battle made it clear to everyone: the Uchiha had produced another extraordinary genius.

Mastering a nature-transformed ninjutsu at just six and a half years old was truly remarkable.

For the rest of the day, due to Kagaya's fireball display, no further training took place. Kagaya and his classmates spent the day in the classroom, leisurely passing the time like the first days of school.

After school, Kagaya went to the usual training ground, where Shisui was waiting as always.

Reaching into his newly equipped ninja tool pouch, Kagaya pulled out kunai and launched an attack on Shisui.

Moments later, the spar ended with Kagaya raising his hands in surrender.

303 losses, 0 wins.

Shisui tilted his head, tossing Kagaya's kunai back to him. "What, you just scored a big victory today, and you're not taking a break?"

"Huh? Senior Shisui, you already heard?" Kagaya asked.

"Hahaha, don't underestimate your big brother. I'm in the Anbu, after all—my sources are pretty good."

Kagaya scratched his head. "It wasn't that big a deal. For me, the real victory will be defeating you one day, Senior Shisui. Until then, I won't slack off on training!"

Shisui chuckled, tapping Kagaya's forehead. "Big dreams, huh? Alright, I'm waiting for you to beat me. But even if you do, no slacking off on training, got it?"

"Got it, got it."

Shisui thought for a moment and added, "Oh, to motivate you, how about this: when you beat me, I'll give you a gift!"

Kagaya grinned. "You'd better keep your word, Senior Shisui."

"Of course!"

"By the way, what gift are you planning to give me?"

"Hmm, let me think… how about the short sword I carry?"

"Whoa, Senior Shisui, you actually said it! Now that you've told me, doesn't that ruin the anticipation?"

"Haha, is that so? Alright, I'll think of a different gift when the time comes."

"It's a deal?"

"It's a deal!"

As usual, after finishing training with Shisui, moonlight illuminated Kagaya's path home, casting a bright glow.

Uchiha Yuko, as always, stood at the doorstep, anxiously looking out for Kagaya. Seeing him, she launched into her usual scolding, urging him not to come home so late. Kagaya nodded along patiently.

She had said these words countless times, never tiring of them, and Kagaya listened patiently every day. As a transmigrator, he knew what was truly precious. Words repeated daily might seem annoying when you have them, but if you suddenly lost them, all that would remain is endless sorrow.

People only realize what's truly valuable after it's gone.

"Oh, Kagaya, you're back. I heard you defeated the Hyuga genius. Not bad. Keep it up," Takayuki said with a faint smile. Though his words were merely "not bad," the pride in his eyes was unmistakable.

Kagaya scratched his head, seeing his father so pleased for the first time. Unsure what to say, he just smiled sheepishly.

Takayuki was clearly thrilled, though his face didn't show it. That was fatherly love—quiet care in action.

"Alright, don't just stand there. Go eat. Your mother kept your food warm," Takayuki said, his words lacking overt affection but his actions showing he didn't want his son to go hungry even a moment longer.

"Exactly! Why are you chatting with him? Go eat, Kagaya. Food comes first," Yuko urged.

Kagaya gave a helpless smile, nodding. "Alright, Father, Mother. I'll go eat now."

"Go on," Takayuki said calmly.

While Kagaya enjoyed his family's warmth, in a dark underground room in Konoha, a man with a bandaged right eye opened his left eye slightly, glancing behind him.

"Well?"

This was, of course, Danzo. Behind him, a Root ninja knelt on one knee, head bowed. Hearing Danzo's question, he answered immediately, "Uchiha Kagaya only trained with Uchiha Shisui for a while before heading home."

Danzo's eyes narrowed. After a moment, he closed them again. "I see. You may go."

"Yes!" The Root ninja vanished, leaving Danzo alone in the dim space.

"It seems Shisui and the others didn't discuss the current state of Uchiha and Konoha relations with that Uchiha Kagaya," Danzo murmured.

After a long silence, he spoke again, slowly. "That won't do. He needs to know about the current state of Uchiha and Konoha relations. Then, he'll either side with Konoha… or, hmph, if he sides with the Uchiha, a genius like him can't be allowed to grow unchecked."
