The front entrance of the grand hall had grown quieter as most guests were still inside finishing their drinks and conversations. Outside, under the golden lights and marble pillars, a small group stood together.

Gemma was there with several of the SEC E members — Aries, Angelo, Ion, Ella, Freya, Mica and a few others. They had stepped outside for some air after the exhausting night.

But something was off.

Gemma's eyes had suddenly locked on something across the entrance.

Her expression changed.

Just for a second.

Angelo noticed immediately.

He frowned slightly and stepped closer to her.

"Mom?"

Gemma blinked and forced a small smile.

"Yes, Angelo?"

"You look like you saw a ghost."

Gemma shook her head quickly.

"Nothing."

Her voice was calm.

"Just tired."

Angelo wasn't convinced.

But before he could ask again—

They all heard a loud thud.

Then another.

And a muffled shout.

Everyone turned toward the darker side of the entrance driveway.

And what they saw made their mouths slowly fall open.

Under one of the side lights—

Raphael, Ava, Michael, Samuel and Adam were beating the hell out of someone.

Literally.

Punches.

Kicks.

Chaos.

Angelo squinted.

"…Is that…"

Aries leaned forward.

"Wait—"

Ion blinked.

"Is that Jay's stepdad?!"

Indeed.

Lying on the ground, trying miserably to protect himself, was Rodrigo Abalos.

And the five of them were absolutely not holding back.

Adam landed another punch.

Samuel kicked his side.

Michael looked ready to break something.

And Raphael—

Raphael looked like he was seconds away from committing actual murder.

Then suddenly—

A familiar voice echoed across the entrance.

"ASSHOLES!"

Everyone turned.

Jay was running toward them.

Her heels clicking rapidly against the marble floor.

"What the hell are you doing in the front entrance?!"

She stopped in front of them, hands on her hips.

"At least try to hide it a little!"

Then she suddenly noticed something.

Her eyes widened.

"WAIT—"

She looked directly at Raphael.

"Oh my GOD."

"KUYA YOU TOO?!"

She slapped her forehead dramatically.

"I thought at least YOU had a brain!"

Raphael didn't stop.

He grabbed Rodrigo by the collar and lifted him slightly before kicking him straight between the legs.

Rodrigo screamed.

Raphael's voice came out cold and furious.

"Because of you, motherfucker—"

Another punch.

"Jay used to have panic attacks."

His eyes were blazing.

"I will kill you."

Jay quickly grabbed his arm.

"KUYYYAAA!"

She pulled him back with surprising strength.

"We are in PUBLIC."

Raphael was still breathing heavily, clearly not finished.

But Jay gave him a small smile.

The kind that meant not now.

Then she turned to Michael.

"Michael."

He immediately looked at her.

"Block every camera around here."

Michael nodded instantly and pulled out his phone.

"Already doing it."

Jay added calmly,

"And delete any photos that got taken."

Samuel grinned.

"Done."

Just then—

Two figures walked out from the hall.

Kaizer.

And Cyrus.

They froze the moment they saw the scene.

And especially when they noticed Raphael and Ava standing with the ACES.

For a brief second their shock showed.

But both quickly masked it.

Ava crossed her arms and looked directly at Cyrus.

"Oh wow."

She tilted her head.

"So your lizard-face ex-boyfriend is also with you?"

She turned to Jay dramatically.

"Girl."

"Look at yourself."

"You chose HIM?"

She pointed at Cyrus with disgust.

"I'm honestly shocked."

Then she winked at Jay.

"You had me."

"You could have dated me instead."

Michael groaned immediately.

"Ava baby."

"I'm your boyfriend."

"Not Jay."

Ava shrugged.

"She will always be my first love."

Jay snorted.

Meanwhile Kaizer was studying Raphael and Ava carefully.

"You think you can do anything you want because of your league connections?"

His voice was cold.

"I guess you forgot something."

He stepped forward slightly.

"I am also invested in another mob group."

"I didn't put 100 million dollars there for nothing."

Inside the hall some of the SEC E members had started walking toward them.

But Angelo suddenly raised his arm.

"Stop."

Everyone looked at him.

Angelo's eyes were fixed on Jay and Raphael.

The expressions on their faces told him something important.

This was under control.

So he shook his head.

"Let them handle it."

Back at the entrance—

Samuel suddenly started giggling.

Adam joined him.

Samuel looked straight at Kaizer.

"Wait…"

"You actually think we're scared?"

Adam added casually,

"Leave the league aside."

Michael stepped forward with a grin.

"We challenge you."

"Do anything."

"To any of us."

Samuel pointed lazily at Rodrigo still lying on the ground.

"And about him…"

He shrugged.

"Do you have proof we did anything?"

Then he smirked.

"Oh wait."

"It got deleted."

Adam adjusted his glasses calmly.

"And if you're thinking about court…"

He smiled slightly.

"Don't forget who I am."

The implication was clear.

Titan Legal.

Adam continued,

"We can easily show evidence that he was drunk and unstable."

Samuel added,

"Thanks to media coverage."

He gestured toward Raphael.

"And the biggest media hub owned by Kuya Raphael."

Michael nodded.

"And business wise we don't even need to mention that Jasper Jean Mariano is backing us."

Adam smirked again.

"And if anything still remains online…"

Samuel pointed at Ava dramatically.

"We have the highest paid actor, model and fashion designer in the industry."

"Ava Brown."

Ava flipped her hair proudly.

Jay looked at Kaizer calmly.

"So you should take him away."

Her voice dropped slightly.

"Before things get worse."

Kaizer looked ready to say something.

But at that moment—

Several paparazzi cameras started flashing nearby.

Kaizer immediately stepped back.

He grabbed Rodrigo and signaled Cyrus.

"Let's go."

And they quickly left.

Jay turned to Raphael and Ava.

"Kuya."

"Ava."

"Handle those paparazzi and come over later."

Raphael nodded.

"Got it."

Jay then walked toward the SEC E group.

And immediately stopped.

Because every single one of them was staring at her like their brains had stopped working.

Their mouths were literally hanging open.

Jay blinked.

"…Why do you all look like that?"

Then suddenly—

Keifer stepped forward.

His eyes fixed on her.

"How do you know Raphael Brown?"

Jay opened her mouth.

But before she could answer—

Rory and Felix jumped forward.

"WAIT WAIT."

"How do you know AVA BROWN?!"

Felix looked desperate.

"Jay please give us her contact number!"

Rory nodded violently.

"PLEASE."

Keifer slowly turned his head toward them.

The glare he gave could freeze lava.

Jay burst out laughing.

She gave them her innocent-devil smile.

"Shut up."

"If Michael hears what you just said…"

She tilted her head.

"…even I can't save you."

They both froze.

Jay added casually,

"She's Michael's girlfriend."

Then suddenly—

A voice came from behind her.

"And I…"

Everyone turned.

Raphael had returned.

He stood beside Jay and casually placed an arm around her shoulders.

"…am this potato's godbrother."

Then he pointed lazily at Rafael standing nearby.

"Not the fake one like him."

The words landed like a bomb.

Aries, Percy and Angelo tensed instantly.

"What?!" Percy blurted.

But before anyone could process that—

Ava suddenly jumped forward excitedly.

"HEY!"

She pointed dramatically at the group.

"What kind of question is this?!"

Her eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Which one of you is the red jacket guy Jay has been obsessing over?!"

The world stopped.

Jay froze.

Her face turned bright red.

She wished the floor would swallow her whole.

Keifer however—

Immediately understood.

Slowly.

A smug, foolish grin spread across his face.

Michael chuckled.

"Babe."

"It's Mark Keifer Watson."

Adam, Samuel and Michael started laughing quietly.

But the next second—

Raphael suddenly grabbed Jay's arm and pulled her behind him.

Then he stepped forward.

His hand grabbed Keifer's collar.

His fist pulled back.

Ready to punch.
