Jay stood in the middle of her room, one sock on, one sock missing, suitcase open like it had personally offended her.
"WHY do socks disappear when you NEED them?" she yelled at absolutely no one.
Cin's from inside Jay's closet for reasons unknown::. "Because they're cowards. Like David when there's cardio."
"I heard that. Also, why do you own seventeen black hoodies that look the same?"
Jay whipped around. "They are NOT the same. This one is emotionally darker."
The suitcase was a mess—hoodies thrown in sideways, boots half-sticking out, weapons neatly placed because of course they were, chargers tangled like a crime scene.
Jay grabbed a jacket, sniffed it, frowned. "Why does this smell like gun oil and fries?"
Cin peeked in, holding three energy drinks. "Multitasking. WWWWait "
jay: WWHat happened
cin: where is dabid grandpa let me find him he must be sleeping somewhere
before jay can reply he literally ran in speed of flash
jay looked at mess and was about to throw something—
When the door opened again.
And suddenly…the room shifted.
Keifer walked in.
Not rushed. Not loud. Calm. Controlled. That quiet Watson aura that made even chaos hesitate for half a second.
He took one look at the room.
Then at Jay.
Then at the suitcase.
He sighed softly—not annoyed. Fond.
Keifer: "You're packing like you're fleeing a country."
Jay crossed her arms. "I am emotionally."
The room smelled faintly of detergent, leather, and whatever expensive cologne Keifer pretended he didn't use.
Jay sat cross-legged on the bed, watching him.
Not helping.Not moving.Just… watching.
Keifer was on the floor, one knee down, folding her clothes with slow precision. Each shirt smoothed, aligned, placed carefully into the suitcase like it mattered. Like she mattered.
Jay frowned slightly.
"Why are you folding my clothes like they're glass?"
Keifer didn't look up. "Because you crease them like they owe you money."
Jay huffed. "They do."
He reached for another hoodie, paused, and glanced at her bare feet touching the cold floor.
"…You didn't wear slippers."
Jay blinked. "Huh?"
Before she could react, he stood, walked over, and crouched in front of her. He slid the slippers onto her feet with a gentleness that made her throat tighten.
"There," he murmured. "Sit properly."
She stared at him. "You're acting like—"
He cut her off calmly. "Like someone who doesn't want you tired."
Jay opened her mouth. Closed it.
He straightened, then without warning lifted her again — not rushed, not dramatic — just solid arms, steady heartbeat.
"Keifer—!"
"Bed."
He placed her down gently, adjusted the pillows, and reached into the drawer. When he returned, he tossed a packet of chips onto her lap.
Jay looked at the chips. Then at him.
"…You're feeding me now?"
"Occupational hazard," he said lightly. "If I don't, you'll interfere."
She laughed, munching loudly as he went back to packing.
Jay watched him work — calm, focused, protective in a way that didn't demand anything from her. No orders. No pressure. Just presence.
Her eyes softened.
"You know," she said, "if someone saw this, they'd think you're whipped."
He zipped a compartment shut and finally looked up at her.
"Good."
That made her choke on a chip.
He smirked.
Jay leaned back against the pillows, feeling oddly safe. Watched him double-check everything, tuck her weapons away properly, slip her necklace into a padded pocket.
She didn't notice when her eyelids started drooping.
Keifer noticed.
He finished packing, closed the suitcase quietly, then walked back to the bed. He brushed her hair back gently, so softly it almost didn't feel real.
"sleep my queen , mother of my children , grandmother of my grandchildren , my boyish wifey my big eater there is still time left for going"
Jay mumbled, half-asleep blushing slightly, "You're too calm for someone dating me."
He bent slightly, pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"And you're too reckless for someone I love. but you are mine and i am yours forever ."
She smiled without opening her eyes. keifer joined her after packing. after 3hrs it was evening
Keifer woke up to warmth.
Not the evening sunlight — though that was there too, slipping in softly through the curtains — but the weight curled against his side.
Jay.
She was half on him, one leg tangled with his, her forehead pressed into his shoulder like she'd decided sometime in the night that this was her personal pillow and that decision was final.
He didn't move.
Didn't even breathe too loudly.
Then—
"…hubby…"
The word slipped out of her mouth, quiet and sleepy, barely more than a sigh.
Keifer froze.
He looked down slowly, like if he moved too fast the moment would vanish.
Jay shifted closer, nose brushing his collarbone. "Mm… don't steal my snacks… hubby…"
For a solid three seconds, Keifer forgot how to function as a human being.
Then he smiled.
Not his usual teasing smirk. Not the calm Watson expression he wore like armor.
This one was soft. Real. Almost boyish.
He brushed his thumb gently over her knuckles. "I wasn't planning to,but i wouldnt mind if i can hear you calling me hubby , wifeyy" he whispered, more to himself than to her.
Jay didn't wake up. She just hummed, completely unaware she'd detonated his heart before he could even wake properly.
""I love you, Jay. Until the scientists find the end of the universe "(a/n:ahhhhh)
"love, get up we need to get ready "
"five more minutes , keif"
"u said that 10mins ago"
"Fineee!!, mr watson "
Jay woke up properly this time because something cold touched her cheek.
She flinched. "—WHAT THE—"
Keifer pulled his hand back instantly, trying not to laugh. "Relax. Water. From the glass. You were overheating."
She blinked up at him, hair sticking in every possible direction, eyes half-lidded and murderous. "You better pray I'm still in love with you."
He leaned down, brushed a quick kiss on her forehead. "You called me your husband in your sleep."
Silence.
Then—
"…I want a lawyer."
Keifer laughed, full and warm, and she slapped his chest weakly before dragging herself out of bed. "Come on. Bathroom. Before I change my mind and push you out of the jet later."
The bathroom mirror witnessed history.
Two toothbrushes.
One sink.
Zero personal space.
Jay squeezed toothpaste aggressively. "You're standing on my side."
Keifer, already brushing, raised an eyebrow. "There is no your side. There is only us."
She pointed her toothbrush at him. "Say that again and I'm spitting mint on you."
He leaned closer instead.
They brushed side by side, bumping elbows, silently competing over who could rinse first. Jay tried to splash water at him; he dodged and flicked it right back.
"TRAITOR."
"You started it."
They washed their faces together, Keifer holding Jay steady when she leaned too far into the sink, water dripping from her chin. He wiped it with his thumb without thinking.
She paused.
Looked at him.
Softened.
"LETS GO EVERYONE MUST BE WAITING"
Downstairs, the mansion was already alive.
Voices echoed. Bags rolled. Someone shouted about losing a passport.
Section E was a disaster zone.
Cin was sitting on a suitcase eating chips.David was holding coffee like it was life support.Adam and Michael were arguing over headphones.Samuel stood calm in the middle of it all, observing like a disappointed older brother.
The moment Jay stepped into the hallway—
"ALPHA'S ALIVE."
"wait a sec what were you both doing in same room??"
"i told you not to touch her !!!"
keifer just smirked
Keifer walked down behind Jay, hand resting casually on her shoulder.
That was enough.
"OKAY THAT'S ILLEGAL," percy yelled.
"STOP TOUCHING HER," Angelo snapped automatically.
Ion smirked. "Too late."
Grandma appeared like a final boss. "Everyone breathe. Jay, eat something."
Jay kissed her cheek. "Yes, boss."
Jeana hugged her tightly. Gemma followed, whispering, "Come back safe."
Jay smiled. "Always do."
Jay closed her eyes. "We haven't even reached the jet."
Keifer laughed quietly and stepped closer. "You okay?"
She nodded—but then, just for a second, let herself lean into him. Her forehead rested against his chest. His hand came up instinctively, thumb brushing her temple.
That was their thing.
Small moments. Quiet ones. The kind that didn't ask for permission.
When she pulled back, she caught Angelo standing in the doorway across the hall, arms crossed, watching Ion argue with a staff member about whether swords counted as "sports equipment."
Ion noticed Angelo staring and immediately stopped talking.
"…What?" angelo asked.
ion didn't answer. Just reached out, adjusted angelo's collar, and said flatly, "You look stupid."
Ion flushed. "You touched me."
"You were crooked."
"I was fine."
"You were crooked."
Jay smirked. Somewhere behind them, Sam made gagging noises.
"Can we PLEASE survive one trip without emotional damage?" Michael yelled from down the hall.
"No," Adam replied instantly. "It's tradition
Packing was finished.
Miraculously.
Jay still didn't know how—because five minutes ago, Percy had been wearing her hoodie, Aries had stolen her boots "by accident," and someone (David) had fallen asleep inside an empty suitcase—but somehow, everyone was now standing at the base of the jet.
The goodbye scene looked like a chaotic family reunion that accidentally turned into an airport drama.
Grace stood near the steps, holding Grazel, who was chewing on Rosie's sock like it was a five-star meal.
Lia adjusted Rosie's blanket. "You better come back in one piece."
Jay bent down, tapped Grazel's nose gently. "Protect them. Bite anyone suspicious."
Grazel gurgled.
"See?" Jay nodded seriously. "Already trained."
Denzel hugged Grace. "Text if she sneezes."
"She's a baby, not a grenade, just like her godmother" Grace said, laughing.
Angelo gave one last look around, then nodded. "Alright. Everyone aboard. No dying. No scandals."
Percy raised a hand. "No promises."
The plane had barely reached cruising altitude when chaos officially clocked in for duty.
The jet interior was… obscene.
Cream leather seats. Dark wood finishes. A quiet hum that felt like power. Jay stepped inside and felt every eye flick toward her—not because she was Alpha, not because she was Watson-adjacent, but because somehow she made the space hers just by existing in it.
Keifer walked beside her, hand brushing hers—casual, unclaimed, but close enough that everyone noticed.
Percy noticed hard.
"Oh look," he said loudly, "they're doing that thing again."
Jay didn't even look at him. "What thing?"
"The breathing in sync thing."
Keifer shrugged. "Efficient."
Jay initially sat with Cin and David—three seats together.
Which was a mistake.
Cin immediately kicked his shoes off and stretched. "Ahhh. Luxury."
Jay snatched his sock and threw it at his face. "Put those weapons away."
Cin gasped. "My foot has feelings."
David adjusted his glasses. "Both of you are why airlines have rules."
Jay and Cin looked at him together.
Jay: "Grandpa, relax."
Jay hadn't even buckled properly before Cin leaned halfway over the aisle, stealing the chocolate from her tray like a professional criminal.
Jay: "Cin."
Cin (mouth already full): "Yes, ?"
Jay: "That was mine."
Cin: "Correction. That was yours. Past tense."
Jay stared at him fo
r two seconds. Then calmly reached into his hoodie pocket and pulled out the exact same chocolate bar.
Cin froze. "—How?"
Jay smirked. "You think I don't plan for you?"
David, sitting on the other side, slowly clapped. "This is why you scare me."
Cin squinted. "You carry backup snacks?"
Jay: "Cin, I carry backup plans."
Cin lunged anyway.
What followed looked less like two people fighting over chocolate and more like two raccoons wrestling mid-air. Elbows everywhere. Whisper-yelling. The chocolate dropped once, hit David's thigh, and David—without opening his eyes—caught it and continued sleeping.
David (mumbling): "Finders… sleepers…"
Jay and Cin stared.
Jay: "Did he just—"
Cin: "Yes."
Jay: "I hate him."
Cin: "Same."
Keifer cleared his throat from the seat beside Jay. "You're sitting with me."
Jay grinned and immediately moved, leaving Cin offended and David rolled is eyes
Cin: "She abandoned us."
Pairs and trios formed naturally:
Jay & Keifer (obviously)
Rakki & Ion
Calix & Mica
Freya & Edrix
Ella & Aries
Tiger & Angelo
Yuri & Josh
Rory & Eman
Rory stared at Keifer and Edrix dramatically.
Rory: "So this is how it is? Both my bros ditched me for girlfriends?"
Edrix: "You're dramatic."
edrix: "You can sit with me."
Rory: "No. I'm hurt."
Eman patted his back. "You can sit with me."
Rory sniffed. "My emotional support human"
Percy was now using his phone camera as a mirror.
Percy: "Do you think this lighting appreciates me?"
Aries didn't even look up. "The lighting is suffering."
Percy gasped dramatically. "Baby, why do you wound me?"
Aries: "Stop calling me baby."
Percy: "But emotionally, we're married."
Jay called out, "PERCY YOU PROPOSED TO YOUR REFLECTION YESTERDAY."
Percy nodded proudly. "And I said yes."
Aries muttered, "I hate this flight."
Percy leaned over, whispering, "Don't worry. I'll protect you."
Aries: "From what?"
Percy: "Me."
Aries paused. "…Fair."
Samuel and Rafael sat peacefully, watching the disaster like it was a documentary.
Samuel: "If this plane crashes, it won't be mechanical."
Rafael nodded. "It'll be emotional damage."
Samuel sipped his drink. "Jay's doing well."
Rafael smiled faintly. "She always does."
They watched as Cin attempted to steal another snack and immediately got flicked in the forehead by Jay without even looking.
Samuel: "See?"
Rafael chuckled. "Terrifying."
Michael was peacefully scrolling when Adam leaned over.
Adam: "You ever notice—"
Michael: "No."
Adam: "—that if intelligence was money, you'd be borrowing?"
Michael turned slowly. "You want to die today?"
Adam grinned. "Relax. If I wanted you dead, I'd let you plan it yourself."
Samuel choked again. "ADAM."
Rafael laughed openly now.
Michael glared. "At least I don't trip over air."
Adam: "That happened ONCE."
Jay yelled from three rows back, "YOU TRIPPED OVER NOTHING."
Cin added, "I recorded it."
Michael: "WHY DO YOU PEOPLE EXIST."
Keifer leaned back, amused. "Group bonding."
Jay nodded. "Through trauma."
