"Hey you guys, mind if I eat lunch with you?"
Kian politely asked and without a second thought the two girls scooched quickly aside to make space for him to sit.
"Hi I'm Anna."
"Hi I'm Isabella."
The two girls said excitedly as Kian also introduced himself.
"So..., Kian... how's it like?"
"Hm, what do you mean?"
"Ok like...."
Then Isabella crouched slightly as she whispered in Kian's ear.
"How's it like being in the same room as Red hair?"
"Oh you mean Elianor, yah it's actually okay with me and besides she doesn't beat me up like everyone she supposedly beat up in past."
"Oh maybe because the professor gave her a late warning."
"Yah I remember that, the professor warned her for the very last time after she got Jude killed."
"Cough cough, w-what did she do?"
Kian chocked after hearing that statement.
"Ya... she.... killed her last roomie, her name was Jude... but, it wasn't hard to guess why because they fought every day."
"Mhm they say before you arrived, 2 days back she decided that she needed a new roomie and finally got rid of Jude."

Kian was left utterly shocked and soon his had a sad look on his face.
"Kian..."

"U-uh Kian... sorry we didn't mean to tell you that."
"Y-ya we just wanted to talk with you."

The words of the 2 girls became fainter as Kian's vision also detoured into a flashback of the 2nd day he was here.
"Hey Elianor."

"Today was so much more fun than I expected it to be."

"So today me and some other guys found a lizard and one of them called Ash wanted to kill it coz he thought it was icky."

"And then everyone started supporting him but, I thought that why should it be killed? It didn't hurt anyone but, it was everyone's enemy."

"So I stepped up stopped Ash from killing the poor lizard and wanted to fight me while cussing at me."
"So... what did you do?"
Elianor asked in a very weak tone like as if she hadn't eaten the whole day.
"Oh my haven't you eaten anything today."

"Hmmm, that's not good... let me come back."
Kian then ran outside to get something fir Elianor to eat, though it was bed time fir sone reason the guards forgot to lock their jail cell.
Elianor realised that he should just die in peace and not bother her but, what was she thinking letting get killed on his second day.
So she stormed off to find him.

"Hey Alfred, everything's good on floor 1 to 6."
"Okay I'll start checking my floors now."
Alfred said as he began to walk around checking each cell on the floors.
This prison is consisted of two buildings, the prison house, for resting and lunch and the enlightment facility where the kids were taken to learn about how cardinae and other stuff worked but they would only start going to learn once they were 10 years.
The enlightment facility is also for..... enlightment experiments.
Enlightments are when people awaken their cardinae. And the how one can force it through using the magna bark drug.
This drug comes from trees that grow using cardinae and there are only three magna tree species.

The philia tree mainly grows in the Philippines and produces a fruit called philia, that's used to repair damaged cardinae.
The elementa tree, as the name suggests is a tree that produces a fruit called Isadora.
The fruits of this tree don't have different shapes, colours or taste. They are uniquely defined by their almost spherical shape and are cyan in colour with no scent.
These fruits are said to have the ability to give cardinal warriors an extra cardinal point.
Cardinal points are the specific belongings of one's abilities or elemental or supernatural abilities.
Like: The cardinal point, East, is for fire.
All cardinal warriors can only have one but for those who have two are called Gifted cardinals.
The nova tree as the name suggests is a very beautiful tree that has leaves that are usually up to 100 only in number and those leaves are like the colour of the night sky.
The leaves are used to make an elixir called novus blend, that used to replenish magna.
The bark of all three tree types are used as a drug like substance that helps in forceful enlightment.
But,in most cases the drug has a 90% mortality rate when used that's why when its used it's diluted to leave only 10% magna.
And it's best used in vapour form so that the required position and the right growth method can be used effectively.
The scene now shifts to Kian who is searching the kitchen of the prison house quietly and as sneakily as he can.
But as he soon finds a fresh bun he hears foot steps which caused him to hide in the lower cabinets.

The sound got more intense as the sound of hard but softly forced breathing filled the air, Kian couldn't help but cry to himself saying that atleast he tried to do something good before his death and....

The doors to the cabinet he was hiding in were slowly opened.

His heart raced and soon the doors opened and the person who had found him was...
"Uh you, sly idiot what were thinking!!!!"
Elianor whispered angrily as she grabed Kian in hurry and left fled the scene but as she yanked him from the cabinet Kian hit his head on it a loud thudding noise was made.
"Hey whose there?!!!"
A guard shouted as ge ran towards the kitchen switched on the lights and began searching the place rapidly.
"Where are... you...?"
He said with a scary tone to his statement.

He tossed aside the saucepans and other cooking instruments as he rapidly searched the kitchen.

A sound of something moving cane from the ventilation system.
He turned around a pulled a flash from his pockets and turned it on.
He then removed the ventilator from the ventilation tube and pushed his head and the flash light inside and turned left and right as he looked and found nothing.
"Hmmm, maybe....?"
He thought to himself who could've been smart enough to to escape as he then got spark on his mind and thought...
