Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: Thought

Chapter 115: Thought

Now Freya was standing in front of Maya.

Both of them were facing each other.

Both were ready to kill.

Especially Freya.

She was burning with anger.

Her eyes were filled with pure hatred as she stared at Maya.

"Look at what you have done," Maya said.

"If it is between you or me…"

Her voice became colder.

"Then one of us must die."

Maya said calmly.

Then she smiled.

Not a normal smile.

A smile filled with amusement.

She was clearly enjoying Freya's anger.

Freya's skin slowly began to change.

The color of her body shifted.

From its original color to a deep red.

Her blood was boiling from the immense hatred she felt toward Maya.

Her veins bulged under her skin.

Her breathing grew heavier.

She was ready to do anything.

Anything.

Just to kill Maya.

Even her face had turned red.

Blood slowly dripped onto the ground.

From the wound on her hand.

The cut from earlier had not healed completely.

But Freya did not care.

Pain meant nothing to her now.

Her only focus was Maya.

She stood still.

Her eyes locked onto her enemy.

Boom!

Suddenly someone landed nearby.

Seraphina.

She landed beside Celestia.

Celestia had already come there to help Freya.

But the moment she saw Freya's expression…

She stopped.

She could immediately tell.

Freya did not want anyone interfering in this fight.

Seraphina had several wounds across her body.

Some cuts.

Some bruises.

But they were slowly healing.

She had already used a high level healing item.

Even so…

She could not move.

Neither Seraphina nor Celestia could do anything.

Both of them simply watched.

Their fists tightened.

They still remembered Freya's warning that they felt from her aura.

The aura she released earlier.

The clear message she gave them.

Do not interfere.

They both knew how stubborn their sister was.

Freya would never accept help in a fight like this.

Even so, as sisters they still wanted to help her.

But something stopped them.

An invisible force surrounded the crater.

It prevented them from moving forward.

And then…

A voice echoed inside their minds.

A strange voice.

Sweet.

Beautiful.

Almost hypnotic.

A voice that someone could listen to forever without getting bored.

Yet at the same time…

It felt dangerous.

Like sweet poison.

Something that tasted pleasant but could take your life instantly.

The voice spoke slowly.

Do not interfere.

If you wish to see Freya remain unharmed.

Their bodies froze.

Neither Celestia nor Seraphina moved.

They could not.

The voice felt divine.

Not mortal.

Something greater.

Something that they cannot tell in words.

They could not even tell if the voice belonged to a man or a woman.

But one thing was certain.

This being was not ordinary.

And they could not risk Freya's safety by disobeying it.

Celestia spoke quietly.

"Sister… what should we do now?"

Her voice carried worry.

"We cannot interfere."

"If we do… there is a chance Freya could lose."

"And Freya herself does not want our help."

Seraphina remained silent.

Her eyes were fixed on the battlefield.

She knew Freya was powerful.

Extremely powerful.

But something did not make sense.

Why was Freya struggling against Maya?

Seraphina had already checked Maya's status several times.

Again.

And again.

Just to make sure she had not made a mistake.

But the result was always the same.

She knew exactly how she had lost earlier.

But still…

She could not compare Maya's strength with Freya's.

Freya was someone who could kill enemies in a single moment.

Compared to Freya…

Maya should not even be dangerous.

Yet the numbers shown in Maya's status were unbelievable.

Her strength was extremely low.

Even weaker than many soldiers in the Diamondheart Army.

Seraphina could not understand.

If Maya was so weak…

How could she push Freya into such a state?

Seraphina remained silent thinking this in her mind.

Celestia waited.

A few seconds passed.

Still no answer.

Celestia slowly turned her head toward

Maya.

Maya was smiling.

Full of confidence.

She looked completely relaxed.

As if she had already won the battle.

Celestia frowned.

How?

How was this possible?

How could someone like her cause so much trouble for both Seraphina and Freya?

Especially Freya.

Freya had a unique ability.

The longer she fought…

The stronger she became.

Her power constantly increased.

So how was Maya still standing?

Celestia's mind raced.

First that strange vision she had earlier.

Now this.

Nothing made sense.

What could they even do now?

Celestia was lost in her thoughts.

Seraphina glanced at her.

She noticed Celestia's expression.

Then she looked back at Freya.

Seraphina knew her siblings well.

Very well.

She was the second child in their family.

As the elder sister, she understood all of them.

Their habits.

Their expressions.

Their personalities.

She knew exactly what Celestia's thinking face looked like.

"Celestia."

Celestia looked at her.

Seraphina continued.

"You want to know what we can do now."

Celestia nodded slightly.

Seraphina sighed.

"As for your question…"

"I do not know."

Her voice became quiet.

"I feel hopeless."

Celestia stared at her in shock.

Seraphina continued speaking slowly.

"We are mortals."

"We only follow what the gods created for us."

"We can fight."

"We can struggle."

"We can try our best."

"But we cannot change anything."

Her voice became heavier.

"We are bound by the universe itself."

Her eyes became distant.

"We were born only to entertain the gods."

"We live."

"We struggle."

"We love."

"We hate."

"And in the end…"

"We die."

Seraphina clenched her fists.

"I am useless."

Her voice trembled.

"I thought we could defeat anyone."

"But now…"

"All I see is despair."

"I was useless."

"Completely useless."

Celestia looked stunned.

She had never heard Seraphina speak like this before.

But Seraphina continued.

Then suddenly she paused.

Her eyes moved toward Maya and Freya.

She stared at them without blinking.

Then she spoke again.

"But Celestia…"

"Do you know what I am seeing right now?"

Celestia frowned.

"What?"

Celestia shouted in confusion.

She could not understand anything

Seraphina had said.

Her mind was already a mess.

The strange vision she saw earlier kept appearing in her mind again and again.

Every second.

It would not disappear.

Her head hurt.

Her thoughts became chaotic.

"What are you talking about?"

Celestia asked again.

Seraphina slowly exhaled.

Her eyes remained fixed on the battlefield.

And she whispered quietly.

"I am seeing something…"

"That should not exist."

Seraphina did not know what she was doing and thinking.

She even cannot know what she had said one moment ago.

Every thing leave from her mouth without her knowing.
