Chapter 73 - 73

Unfortunately, after searching for a long time, Liana still couldn't find the allergy medicine Elric needed.

Among all the pill bottles and prescriptions the female nurse kept locked in her cabinet, there wasn't a single one that matched the description.

"I'm sorry…"

Liana's voice was small. She didn't dare look up at him.

Elric glanced at her and immediately understood.

"You couldn't find it, huh?"

He smiled faintly. "It's okay. We'll try our luck at a hospital outside campus later."

This was just a college health center — larger than most, sure, since this was Riverside University, one of the biggest schools in the region. But it was still limited. The supply of medicine couldn't compare to an actual hospital.

Elric had only come here hoping for luck. So not finding the right allergy meds didn't surprise him much.

"Alright then," he said, turning back to the middle-aged nurse. "Grab me half of what you've got — cold medicine, fever reducers, antibiotics, painkillers, and vitamins. Put them in the bag."

The nurse hesitated, but Elric's calm tone left no room for argument.

He wasn't really doing this for himself — with his body's current resistance, he rarely got sick anymore. But the women with him? That was different. They were human, and medicine could mean survival.

As for why he only took half — Elric had his reasons. He wasn't here to loot everything and ruin the place. Medicine that stayed behind might still save someone else.

Even if he took just half, it'd still be enough for him and the five women with him to last at least a year or two.

"Here you go."

The nurse quickly filled a duffel bag with medicine packs and handed it to Liana, who slung it over her shoulder.

Elric glanced at Elsa and then nodded toward the door.

"Alright. Let's move."

He adjusted his coat. "Next stop — the Arts Building, Dance Department classroom."

Liana blinked. "The Dance Department?"

"Yeah," Elric said. "There's someone there I need to meet — the dance department's star. She meets a certain condition I've been looking for."

Elsa and Liana exchanged confused looks but didn't question him. They had long since learned that Elric's decisions weren't up for debate.

The night air outside was colder now. Elric felt his stamina dipping — half of his strength had already been spent from earlier fights. So instead of using his ability to instantly travel, he chose to conserve energy and simply walked up the stairwell with the two women following closely behind.

The Arts Building loomed silent, its long hallways echoing faintly as they climbed to the third floor.

"Have either of you seen this Yvonne girl before?" Elric asked as they walked.

He didn't want to waste energy using his Vision Field again. If either of them knew her, that'd make things easier.

Elsa shook her head. "No idea."

But Liana nodded. "Yeah, I've met her. We're actually… kind of friends."

Elric stopped mid-step and smiled. "That's perfect. You can take me to her — and maybe help me talk her into listening."

Liana hesitated. "Talk her into… you mean to join us?"

Elric's grin didn't fade. "You already know what I mean."

Elsa, following behind, rolled her eyes.

Another woman? Seriously? She didn't say it out loud, but the complaint burned in her mind.

Elric, you already have five women. And now you're chasing the campus' dance queen? Can't you focus on literally anything else?

Elric didn't notice. His thoughts were already moving ahead — focused on the next target.

Liana bit her lip. "It might not be that simple," she finally said quietly.

"Oh? Why's that?"

"It's not that she wouldn't want to… it's that her family background is unreal."

Elric raised an eyebrow. "Unreal how?"

"Let's just say her family's on another level," Liana explained. "She's always been proud, almost untouchable. I don't think she'll easily accept anyone's offer."

Elric's interest piqued. "Tell me more."

Liana hesitated, searching for the right words. "I don't know all the details. But I went to her house once — and I saw Marcus Lee, the richest man in the country, standing there like a servant, barely daring to breathe."

Elric stopped dead in his tracks. "Marcus Lee? The billionaire? The one with a net worth of ninety billion?"

Liana nodded.

Elric gave a low whistle. "So that's what you meant by 'unreal.' Damn."

For the first time that night, a trace of genuine surprise flickered in his eyes.

If what Liana said was true, then she wasn't just some talented dancer — she came from a family with power that dwarfed everyone else's.

Even for him, this was going to be interesting.
