"We can do that. But… about this boss… it's not a guaranteed trick, but… there is one thing I can try."
As soon as Ezekiel said that, Blaze and the others turned to him, their attention totally on this freak of a player who somehow always seemed to know more than anyone else.
[Neira6: Damn… if he can really get out of this situation, I will give my last $500 to him.]
[Procrastinator: Ezekiel, boss, you have my undivided attention now.]
Blaze glanced at the comments before turning back to Ezekiel, who was watching Raven right now. After thinking for a few seconds, he then lifted up his scythe in her direction, passing the scythe to her.
"Hold the boss for one minute. Keep the witch alive."
Raven was taken aback for a few seconds before she began thinking about it. Then, picking up the scythe from his hand, she slowly turned around and began stepping towards the Devilkin with an unbothered look on her face.
One minute, huh? Well, I think at least that much is doable. Blaze thought before also turning towards Raven and beginning to walk behind her. Let's make sure to protect her in case she needs my help.
From the corner of his eye, he saw Ezekiel slowly sitting on the ground. He crossed his legs and sat in a meditating position before he began chanting some strange words.
Was it a prayer? Blaze thought before turning his complete attention to the devilkin once again.
[Nukedout: Now this is interesting!]
[Ravenfan01: Please be careful, Raven!]
[TristanBear: Raven…]
[Enchanter01: Make sure to protect her, Blaze!]

The comments kept pouring as usual, while the live views reached so high that Blaze couldn't believe his eyes.
Even after sharing what I got from the gifts today, I should still have made more than $10,000 to pay for the tuition. That is not counting the revenue that I will get from the livestream. This is what they call overnight success, huh? Feels good.
[Enchanter1: Your grin is showing, brother. Be serious.]
[TristanBear: Pfftt~ Hahaha… he must be happy with the subs' growth!]
[Nukedout: Who wouldn't?]
Reading the comments, Blaze laughed before truthfully speaking," Well. That is true. I won't lie. It's a bit overwhelming, too."
Scratching the back of his head lightly, he bowed in acceptance before turning to the devilkin, speaking," But not as overwhelming as fighting this devilkin, though."
[Nukedout: Seems like it. He isn't easy at all.]
[Ginger1111: True that. It's just that Ezekiel himself is so skilled that this guy looks tame. Even the Witch was good enough to take out many high-level parties, herself.]
[RavenFan01: Even our Raven isn't normal.]
[TristanBear: Good luck surviving among the monsters, Blaze!]
[Enchanter1: Good luck, Blaze.]
Blaze laughed at the comments as he thought about Ezekiel.
I have no idea what he is trying to do. He then tightened his grip on his spear before getting into a position to throw it. But let's trust him for now.
A sigh escaped his mouth as he focused his all on the devil.
It's not like we have any other options.
-Whoosh!
Raven ran towards the Devil with a dash, reaching close to him, and then attacking with a horizontal slash. As the devil dodged by jumping away from her, Raven dashed again, this time attacking with a vertical slash from the top.
Taking a sidestep, the devil dodged that too, before his eyes slowly focused on Ezekiel.
"What is he doing?" He questioned as he jumped back, dodging another attack from Raven.
-Whoosh!
Another dash to get close to him.
-Slash!
Another attack, which was dodged.
A horizontal slash followed by a diagonal one, then three 360-degree slashes, before a heavy vertical one.
[RavenFan01: Wow!]
[Timberreeve: Beautiful!]
If Ezekiel's attacks were a beautiful systematic dance following a strict rhythm that formed a beautiful melody, Raven's attacks were akin to an unrestrained dance that wasn't bound by any rules.
Even though a few attacks were made out of step and landed nowhere, they matched her steps and allowed her to make sure her following attacks were better positioned than being random ones.
-Clank!
And finally, when one of the attacks was connected, it was Raven who was pushed back.
There was indeed a slight cut on the devil's forearm where the attack connected, but unlike Ezekiel's, there was no drop in HP this time.
Was he still hitting critical attacks? Even in this situation?!! Blaze realised as he couldn't help but widen his eyes before gulping and then focusing on the devilkin.
"Monster," he mumbled in a low breath while he saw Raven getting pushed back as the Devilkin started counterattacking her.
"You are good. Just as not as he was… " the devilkin mocked Raven before looking at Ezekiel, who was mumbling the same words as before. His calm face now had a slight smile as he looked at Raven, focusing even more than before.
"I can see what you are trying to do. But tell me, young one, do you really think I will let you do it?" The devilkin added before turning towards Ezekiel as was just about dash towards him.
-Slash!
And in that small moment where attention was focused on Ezekiel, Raven moved in faster than before, going in for a heavy slash on his neck. It was heavy enough to use one-third of her stamina, even.
-Bam!
[Critical Hit!]
-1 HP
The devil pushed back with his neck slightly bleeding from the impact.
"I am still here," she spoke with the same disinterested tone as before, her eyes observing the devilkin, who gave out a light chuckle.
[TristanBear: RAVEN!!!!!]
[RavenFan01: RAVEN!!!!]
The comments exploded as Raven stood between Ezekiel and the devilkin, her scythe placed on her shoulder and her eyes focused yet disinterested.
"All right. It was my mistake to look down on you," the devilkin spoke before a red hue entered his eyes.
-Whoosh!
And in the next second, his body was about a meter in range of her, with his fist ready to kill her in a single attack.
Raven took a step back to dodge, but it didn't seem enough to save her life. She saw the fist getting closer to her face with each passing moment.
[Throw!]
-BOOOOM!
But even faster came a spear, hitting the devil right between the eyes, and then pushing him far away from Raven. She took a few steps back, creating more distance from the devilkin this time, before observing the guy who threw the spear at the perfect time.
"Haha… I made it," a nervous chuckle escaped Blaze's mouth as he saw his attack connecting exactly the way he wanted, resulting in the exact same result that he was expecting it to.
[Rivera11: BLAZE!!!]
[RavenFan01: BLAZE!!!!!]
[Enchanter01: I don't know why, but I am feeling proud! BLAZEE!!!! THAT WAS COOOOL!!!!!]
[Hustler11: Perfecto!!!!!]
And once again the comments poured, keeping the stream as lively as before.
I was lucky… but it felt good. A bright joy brimmed inside him, while he looked at Raven and gave a thumbs up .
Raven nodded at him with slight thanks before turning back to the devilkin once again.
15 seconds since Ezekiel began his prayers
