The next day.
Early in the morning.
Hawk got dressed and went to the front desk of the motel.
He took out thirty US dollars from his pocket and handed it over.
"One more day."
"Room key."
"Here."
Hawk handed over the room key.
The hotel staff took the key, glanced at the room number, and after completing the registration, handed the key back to Hawk.
Hawk took back the key, said thank you, and turned to leave the hotel.
After a while,he arrived at the mountain road next to the Quantico base.
Hawk was not worried that his morning jogging would attract the attention of the soldiers in the base.
Because besides him, there were other residents living in the town of Quantico who were jogging along this mountain road.
Hawk, wearing a baseball cap, followed the jogging crowd slowly, not attracting the attention of the crowd at all.
Soon.
As he reached a bend, Hawke looked ahead at the group of people who hadn't noticed him, and at the group behind who hadn't caught up yet.
Without hesitation, he sped up, and with a whoosh, by the time the runners behind him caught up, Hawke had vanished.
Only the rustling of leaves in the forest beside the mountain road filled the air.
It was already afternoon when Hawke reappeared, back at the motel.
Back in his room, Hawke sat on the edge of the bed and pulled a folded piece of paper from his pocket.
He unfolded it.
A simple topographical map of the Quantico military base was already mapped out.
Barracks. Office buildings.
Tank hangar.
Airport.
And abandoned labs.
Hawke spent the morning figuring out his destination, and then the afternoon scouting the forests surrounding the base to find three possible evacuation routes.
He hadn't yet decided on a specific one,but that didn't matter.
Having an evacuation route was enough. Once things were done, he could adapt accordingly.
Hawke pondered this, then glanced again at the topographical map on the paper, marked with symbols only he could understand.
He then tore the paper into pieces, throwing it into the room's trash can only after even the most expert personnel had failed to restore it.
Soon,the sun was setting.
Hawke returned to the motel front desk, returned his room key, completed the check-out process, and walked out.
This was a motel.
Some people checked in with their female companions and checked out within ten minutes, a fact the front desk had seen before.
So, Hawke wasn't surprised by his early departure.
After leaving the motel, Hawke found a nearby pizza place, ordered a pizza, and ate it by the window.
He couldn't go hungry before a battle.
If he ran out of energy mid-fight, or if he was caught while trying to escape because he was too hungry, it would be a tragedy.
Night fell completely.
Well-fed and well-drinking, Hawke, under the cover of darkness, sprinted through the dense forest at a speed so swift it could even create a sonic boom.
He soon arrived at the military base's high-voltage protective net.
He didn't rush in, but instead looked up at the towering sentry tower.
Atop the tower, a searchlight, activated at night, illuminated a designated area, automatically and slowly sweeping across it.
As the searchlight swept over him, Hawke pulled down his hood and hid behind a tree.
He'd already used his cap on his morning run, just in case, so it wasn't suitable.
But this black hooded jumpsuit would be fine.

This was what he had found in the trunk of the taxi before driving it into the river.
Hawke had put on this clothing after leaving the pizza shop.
Soon, the searchlight left the area of the tree where Hawke was hiding.
The next second,Hawke didn't hesitate.
The moment he emerged from behind the tree, his right knee slightly bent, the mud beneath his feet dented, and he took off silently like a roc, soaring over the protective netting that ordinary people could not fly over, and landed in the base.
Once inside the base, the rest would be easy.
It was nothing more than finding the abandoned laboratory, excavating, and then running away.
Hawke had already thought of a plan.
So after landing at the base, Hawke drove according to the plan, swiftly passing through the dark corners of the base and rushing towards the abandoned laboratory he had discovered.
A minute later, the abandoned laboratory, surrounded by iron sheets and guarded by soldiers at its only entrance, suddenly came into his sight.
Hawke stood quietly about a kilometer from his destination, using a container scattered randomly on the base's grass as cover as he watched the two soldiers in his sight.
"Huh!"
"Get ready."
With his eyes closed, Hawke slowly exhaled, then slowly opened them and looked at his destination.
The next second...
BOOM!
The grass flew apart beneath Hawke's feet, and with a roar like a sonic boom, Hawke was blasted out like a cannonball.
The two men responsible for security at the abandoned laboratory were chatting and laughing.
They thought it was just another ordinary day.
Until they caught something out of the corner of their eyes, and then heard a sonic boom explode right beside their ears.
BOOM!
BOOM!
Without even a cry of surprise, the two soldiers rolled their eyes and fell to the ground.
Hawke still didn't kill them, but simply knocked them unconscious in an instant before dashing back into the abandoned laboratory.
The next second.
"Shit!"
"Who are you?"
"..."
After slipping through the metal, Hawke couldn't help but raise his eyebrows at the two soldiers standing in front of the building, whose outer wall was dilapidated and looked like it had been subjected to explosive shock testing. "
What the hell? " he asked.
"Is it really necessary?
There are already soldiers outside, and two more inside?
Is it necessary?"
Hawke was speechless.
During his daytime scouting, he could only see the outside of the metal sheet, not the inside.
The two soldiers, stunned by Hawke's appearance in front of them, wearing a hood and a medical mask, reacted quickly.
In the next second, they pulled the trigger.
"Enemy attack!"
"Sound the alarm!"
"Beep, beep!"
In an instant, a sharp alarm pierced the silence of the night, resounding over the Quantico military base.
The moment the two soldiers pulled the trigger, Hawke's figure instantly disappeared.
The next second, he appeared in front of the two soldiers who had attacked him.
The two soldiers outside hadn't pulled the trigger.
They can live.
These two...
Hawke's face was expressionless, and his right hand directly blasted towards the two soldiers in front of him, whose expressions were full of astonishment!
