The TV was full of related reports, newspapers, magazines, the internet—wherever information could be transmitted, everyone was discussing the first large-scale alien-human contact event in recorded human history.

Why had they been lurking on Earth, living like normal people?
Why were these aliens threatening war to demand these two aliens be handed over?

In Blue Valley, Courtney's family was watching TV.
Mike ate pancakes while staring intently at Courtney, who was glued to the TV.
Several experts on TV were discussing whether to agree to the aliens' proposal.

Courtney felt a bit wronged for Eric and Clark, and her eyes were a little red.
"Uh, are they aliens? Well, that's really cool!"
Mike, on the other hand, focused on the alien identity reported on TV.
"Mike!"
Courtney glared at him.
"Okay, I just think they're really cool!"
Mike said grudgingly.
"Anyway, this is not something we can decide."
Pat said helplessly to his daughter.
"I, I must go help them!"
Lowering her head, Courtney said to herself inwardly.
On the other side, the Pentagon.
General Lane received a mysterious phone call.
The mysterious person on the other end of the line told him that the Pentagon had learned that he knew the identities of the two aliens.
Hearing this, General Lane's expression immediately became serious.
He glanced down the corridors to his left and right and quickly walked out.
His top priority now was to escape the Pentagon.
FBI and CIA agents would probably come to arrest him soon.
He had to leave here to have a chance of escaping.
While running quickly forward, he pulled out his phone and dialed his daughter's number.
"Louise, listen, I don't have time, you must remember these few words I'm about to say!"
Louise was overwhelmed at the newspaper office and was even more confused after receiving her father's call.
While giving instructions to his daughter, General Lane saw a team of plainclothes personnel walking quickly towards him.
Bang!
Lane immediately pushed open the nearby fire door and entered the stairwell.
Seeing General Lane flee, the plainclothes agents immediately chased after him.

Stepping on the stairs, Lane went down to another floor and walked along the corridor to the nearest room.
But at the other end of the corridor, more agents were coming this way.
At this point, he had to turn around and return the way he came.
"General Lane! Don't run!"
A voice sounded behind him.
