A week had passed since Yuzu began sharing a room with Yeva. At first, Yuzu felt guilty for troubling her, but Yeva accepted her request with genuine delight. She said having Yuzu around was a breath of fresh air after years of living in Niky's household, surrounded mostly by men.
Yeva wanted Yuzu to treat the room as their own girls' sanctuary. A safe space, somewhere Yuzu could slowly forget the terror that gripped her every time she faced the men working under Niky.
At first, even if Niky visited her and invited her to walk around the mansion, Yuzu would refuse with various excuses and uncomfortable body language.
