Jane's smile widened slowly, her eyes still locked on his. "Yeah?"

She looked at him for a long moment, her fingers playing with the edge of her cup. Then she set it down on the table, slowly, deliberately.
She leaned back in her seat, her head tilting slightly. "mm. For some weird reason, it's pretty hard to say no to you."
Time stopped.
The system appeared, clean white text hanging in the air.
