Kelvin wasn't wrong.
That was the worst part about what he'd said.
Every word had been true, uncomfortable as it was to admit. If they sent someone like Twenty after him, someone who could crush a man's skull with one hand and catch a blade with the other, Liam wouldn't stand a chance.
Not as he was right now.
Not without preparation.
Kelvin's point had been valid. Liam was in danger. Real danger.
The kind that didn't give warnings or second chances.
But there was one thing Kelvin had gotten wrong.
He wasn't normal anymore.
He had the system. He had skills that put him beyond what any regular person could do. He just needed to figure out how to use them properly, how to survive long enough to get stronger.
And right now, sitting in this arena surrounded by rich families who controlled everything on their own rights, he had an opportunity he couldn't waste.
Liam's eyes drifted upward again, scanning the VIP booths built into the walls above the seating area.
