"I should kill you, Hyuuga Ishikawa, and that freakish baby right now."
A shinobi, approximately fifty years old, spoke. He had brown hair with white streaks and almost completely white eyes.
He slapped Hyuuga Ishikawa hard across the face, trying to lessen his anger at the Hyuuga shinobi who, despite being from the branch, dared to dishonor the Hyuuga name by mating with a random woman outside the clan. And to top it all off, fathering a bastard child.
He had an authoritative tone, clearly accustomed to giving orders and being under his control.
The slap was so strong that it forced Ishikawa to the ground, his entire body bearing the brunt of the impact, his chakra points sealed by the gentle fist, which is only called gentle. Given the difference in strength between the two, and being practically a slave, Hyuuga Ishikawa could only do one thing to try and save his son.
"Leader of the Hizame clan, my life is in your hands, as it always has been due to the caged bird seal, but you cannot touch my son, please, clan leader."
Young Ishikawa Hyuuga pleaded, feeling utterly powerless simply for being born into the Hyuuga branch family.
"This damn seal, if it weren't for it, I would have deserted the Hyuuga or even Konoha," Ishikawa thought.
"If it weren't for that, I would fight him to the death, even if he were weaker. I wouldn't let anyone lay a hand on my son and my wife."
Hyuuga Ishikawa is a full-fledged jonin, a master of Taijutsu like most Hyuugas, but also an expert in water-style and earth-style ninjutsu. He also masters some Fuinjutsu. These skills earned him the title of jonin.
But before the seal of his caged past, he is nothing, incapable of reacting. As soon as he turned four, he was marked with the seal, making him incapable of acting on his own.
But like anyone, he won't give up his family.
After a mission near the Land of Whirlpools, he met an Uzumaki kunoichi. After this encounter, the two began to see each other more and more.
Whenever possible, they made excuses, from missions near each other's lands, to see each other. Through their relationship, they eventually conceived the little baby they saw. But this romance will be told in detail later, as the current situation left no room for romance.
This was the only act Ishikawa committed that went against Hyuuga doctrine; it was the only time he did something of his own free will.
If Ishikawa were asked if he regretted it, the answer would be no. This love was the only thing that gave meaning to his life as a slave, and gave him a purpose greater than serving the main branch.
But now, this act of love could cost him his life and that of his son. He could not allow that. But before the Hyuga clan leader's voice could sound, a much more imposing voice carried the weight of past, present eras...
"You may treat yours however you wish, and I will not interfere, but you must not touch mine lightly, Hizame Clan leader."
"This young woman is my older sister's granddaughter, her son and great-grandson. In other words, they are my great-nephews, my family, and you are not allowed to touch them unless you wish to oppose me."
A powerful voice spoke, carrying authority even when spoken calmly.
This voice came from a beautiful woman with vibrant red hair and a practically perfect figure, where even at her age, no one in Konoha dared to claim her beauty was superior.
"I'm sorry, Leide Mito. I was simply very angry with the actions of my clan's shinobi, but I would never touch the family or the Uzumaki clan. I would never disrespect Leide Mito Uzumaki,"
the Hyuuga clan leader quickly expressed, bowing his head ninety degrees, showing a humility no one knew existed in him.
But it was no wonder: Mito Uzumaki was a living legend in Konoha, the strongest known person alive.
Her titles aside: Wife of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju;
Sister-in-law of the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju;
Perfect jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, the strongest tailed beast;
With power and authority that made even the Daimyo of the Land of Fire and the newly ascended Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, bow in her presence.
Such was Mito Uzumaki's authority, respected in the Land of Fire and beyond.
"Well, then, what will you do in this situation?!" Mito asked, not caring about intruding on the Hyuga clan's affairs. When you have power and authority, those matters don't matter.
After reflecting on the matter, Hizame made a decision that wouldn't offend Mito, but also wouldn't affect the Hyuuga clan.
"This child and her mother can't stay in the Hyuuga clan; they aren't my responsibility."
"Not to mention, this child doesn't even have the Byakugan, so she won't be accepted into the Hyuuga clan. The Hyuuga clan doesn't accept bastards or useless people," said Hyuuga Hizame.
"You don't need to worry about my family; they'll return to Uzushiogakure, the land of whirlpools," Mito Uzumaki said, as if daring anyone to do anything to her family.
Unlike Hashirama and Tobirama, who placed the village above family and clan, she was different; she protected the Uzumaki and Senju clans, as well as her family.
Hizame nodded, as if approving of the decision, but in truth, he wanted to kill these two who had tarnished the Hyuuga name.
But due to Mito Uzumaki's deterrent power, he could only remain silent and accept her decision.
"And you, Hyuuga Ishikawa, will not be killed even if you deserve it. Instead, you will be imprisoned for five years, and after your rehabilitation, you will be reassigned to guard the clan within the compound until further notice."
He gave Hyuuga Ishikawa a light sentence, but in reality, it was just a form of house arrest.
Everyone in the hospital room knew this, but there wasn't much they could do. Mito might, but she preferred not to interfere too much in the Hyuuga clan's affairs.
Uzumaki Kilin, upon learning that she would be separated from her partner, began to cry, silently so as not to frighten her son.
But she couldn't help but hold her son close, afraid he would be taken away.
"At least he won't be killed," she lamented, trying to ease the pain in her heart. Hyuuga Hizame didn't resort to the death penalty, as a jonin-level fighter couldn't be lost so easily. Even with his bravado, the Hyuuga clan lacked high-level fighters.
While the situation reached a seemingly peaceful resolution, the parties accepted the decisions made.
One person, who shouldn't exist in this world, was harboring thoughts of pure hatred, and that person was none other than Ascher.
'How dare this white-eyed idiot call me a bastard and decide these people's lives as if he owned everything!?'
'If I had the power of my past life, I would have shot an arrow through his forehead by now.'
'If it weren't for her, I'd be dead by now,' he thought, looking at Mito.
He hated feeling imposing, having his life in someone else's hands; he hated this situation.
He became a hunter so he could take control of his life and not let others fight for him. Even after her death, he still hated it.
And seeing the woman who gave birth to him in this second life crying only made him angrier.
For she reminded him so much of his mother from his past life.
As people sorted things out, he began to accept his situation. Years of living between life and death, fighting terrifying beasts from another world, had given him a mindset few could surpass.
So he accepted that he had died and been reincarnated, and reincarnated in the Naruto world.
As anger rose in his mind, his small body began to produce a barely perceptible blue light, which grew more intense, almost reaching his eyes.
Even with an Uzumaki physique, a newborn baby's body couldn't handle the chakra stimulation, so he fell asleep, and the energy calmed down.
Mito Uzumaki, with Kaguya's mind's eye and Kurama's senses, could sense this anomaly, but said nothing; his mind simply began to work. "Manifesting chakra within minutes of birth is simply terrifying; even among the Uzumaki, it shouldn't be possible."
"This child could end up being an aberration, like those two monsters," Kurama spoke in Mito's mind, as the spiritual energy he sensed from the child was very similar to that present in Madara and Hashirama, two of the greatest powers this world has ever seen.
"Even Kurama thinks this child isn't normal."
Thinking this, she looked at the Hyuuga clan leader with pity, realizing that the decision he'd made would make him greatly regret it in a few years.
"That being said, let's take our leave now. It was an honor speaking to you, Leide Mito," Hizame said, waving goodbye and waving for two more Hyuuga Jonins to take Ishikawa away.
But then, a voice that hadn't been pronounced echoed through the room.
