Ciel's POV
I stared at the invitation in my hand, shock and worry twisting in my chest.
Chaos in Heaven… I thought. What could have happened?
It hadn't been long since I left Heaven. My thoughts raced.
Lucien. Asriel.
Could they have already launched their attack?
No. I couldn't wait to find out.
My heart pounded as urgency took over. "Commander, let's go," I said sharply. "But first—have the doctor tend to Serena and Keep me updated on her condition."
I paused, gripping the invitation tighter.
"Then after that, then begin the chants to Heaven."
Clara's POV
My eyes fluttered open as I slowly took in my surroundings—but Ciel was nowhere to be seen.
Instead, there was a woman standing nearby.
When she noticed I was awake, her eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Your Majesty, you're awake," she said with a warm smile as she approached me.
"Who are you?" I asked softly, pushing myself up.
"I'm your doctor, Your Majesty," she replied gently. "I'm here to check on you."
