The entire floor and even the walls surrounding the alley were wet with water and in the middle of the small puddle laid a drowned rat-Ahem! Arv Shaw, totally drenched lying on the floor. Oh, now this lazy rat is getting up.
"Man i wish I had a blow dryer or something."
Emilia's ears twitched the sound of an unkown term. "What's a blow dryer?" She tiltled her head and asked with curiosity.
"Oh. You people don't have those here? Well...let's just say its a device. Now let us focus on the main topic."
Both Puck and Emilia instantly closed their mouths and looked at Arv expectantly who closed his eyes trying to remember the girl the best he could.
From his life experience, Arv has understood that, to help others with a topic one must know about the knowledge the person seeking help already has about that topic. "So...did you see her face?" Emilia shook her, signifying her answer as a no. "Good. Then let me start with her appearance first." Drawing in a quick breath Arv started- "She had yellow short hair, red eyes and a weak looking body with surprising energy. She was probably a girl in her early teens. Around 13 to 14 year-" His rambling was cut short by Emilia who said-"Um, a person is deemed an adult from 13 in Lugunica so...it's a bit rude."
Arv face went blank at the sudden info drop. IS THAT REALLY IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW?!?!
"Lia that's not really important right now." Puck looked at his daughter with a tired gaze which shut her up.
"Yea so, as i was speaking. She wore a very small jacket and her chest was covered by a single strap of cloth" "Pervert" "Shut up Puck. And from her protruding ribs, i'd say she is probably from some weaker section of the society, so the possibilty of finding her will be very high in a poor place. That's all" I exhaled a large breath after recounting all the details i could think of an even adding my theory as a tip.
Emilia nodded furiously at every detail given to her, engraving those words in her memory so that she wouldn't forget them. This man has been kind enough to help even though her appearnce...wait a minute. How could i forget? This man helping her for his own gain not out of sheer kindness.
"So..." Emilia spoke up drawing the attention of both puck and Arv simultaneously "What do you want in return mister?"
"Ah that part is left to be done right?" Puck said.
"...Ah yeah that part is still left right?" Gosh i forgot about that totally. Thanks a lot Lia~
"So what i want is..." Both Puck and Emilia listened intently.
"Is..." Both Puck and Emilia listened even more intently.
"IS...." Puck and Emilia listened EVEN MORE intently.
"ISSS..." "FOR THE LOVE OF OD JUST SAY IT ALREADY" "I can't. It's too embarassing ToT"
Arv finally replied after getting yelled at by puck. The act had irritated puck a lot so he replied "Oh, how noble of you to do such a good deed without asking for a reward~" "OI! I NEVER SAID THAT I DON"T WANT IT!!" Arv replied.
"Ok, I'm ready to say it." Both Puck and Emilia again listened intently."So like...I'm pretty broke and homeless, so i was thinking if you could...y'know, help me an' all"
