He didn't ask why Morpheus wanted these people dead. As an assassin, he followed his Master's orders.
If his Master commanded him to kill, he killed.
No questions needed.
Then Morpheus turned to Nikola Tesla. "The Umbrella Corporation is a major pharmaceutical conglomerate. After the cleanup, I want you to take it over."
Tesla frowned. "You want me to continue researching viruses?"
Morpheus shook his head. "No, I want you to pursue your inventions and creations to benefit humanity."
Tesla's eyes lit up. Those words struck a chord with him.
Scientific research and invention were his passions. "I can continue my research, but I'm not sure I can manage a massive multinational corporation."
After all, he was a scientist, not an entrepreneur.
