Chibuzor leaned back, folding his arms across his chest. "True enough. Which reminds me—" he paused, giving her a pointed look, "we haven't done this month's date yet. We should set that up soon, don't you think?"
Olaedo tilted her head, thinking. "Right… But with the workload piling up from our companies, thanks to everything we paused for the traditional marriage and the family ball, I don't even know when we'll have the time."
Chibuzor gave her a knowing look, lowering his voice into a mock stern warning. "Olaedo, let's not take too long. Our public image depends on this, you know."
She let out a small laugh, her lips curving. "Okay, okay, I hear you. I'll check my schedule and let you know soon."
"Good." He relaxed into the seat, a subtle grin tugging at his mouth. "You know… these outings of ours…" He hesitated for a dramatic second. "They're actually… refreshing."
