Marco had left an hour ago with promises to follow them to Atalanta in the coming days, and his parting words still lingered in the apartment as Demien helped his mother clear the dinner dishes.
"I've already started working on some comparable salary figures," Marco had said while squeezing Demien's shoulder, his agent's mind clearly focused on maximizing the opportunity, and he'd added with a warm smile to Isabella, "You should come too—see where your son will be making history."
