Viviana turned around and stared at the direction where she was feeling the most eyes on her. There weren't many people here, because while it's an open place, it was still the Di-grassi property, so of course only shops like the café approved by her father were available here.
Swallowing, she immediately slipped off her shoes. She wasn't with her gun, and had not thought she would need it. It is after all not everyday one wakes up assuming they would be watched or tailed.
"You've got to be kidding me."
She was a Di-grassi heiress and naturally a man like her father had taught her to be vigilant of her surroundings. After all, there were eyes on her family. Maybe she hadn't learnt how to fight, but she knew how to use a gun, and she knew…how to run.
Taking steps back on her barefoot, she turned, uncaring to know whoever it was after her. Viviana ran and sure enough, the people who'd been watching her, finally stepped out of their hiding place, sprinting after her.
