Darius's POV
I could see beads of sweat forming across the manager's pale forehead.
The man opened his mouth to speak, but Kayne moved with lightning speed. His hand clamped down on the manager's arm like a steel trap. "Take us to your office in this building. We know you have one here."
"What? Absolutely not!" the manager's voice cracked with fear.
My fist connected with the man's nose in one swift motion. The satisfying crunch told me I'd dislocated it perfectly. "Now!" I snarled through gritted teeth.
The manager whimpered, blood streaming down his face as he stared at us in horror. "Who the hell are you people?"
Soon after, we were descending into the bowels of the building toward Grant's secret operation. Even in his wildest dreams, Grant never would have imagined someone could penetrate this deep into his empire. This basement office was where all his dirty real estate schemes came to life.
