Seeing no other place to run to, Aera burst into the female's restroom at the speed of light. Jisu and the others were hot on her tail, they spared her no time to lock the door.
The female student in the stall scurried outside in fright upon seeing the dark storm hovering over Jisoo— Blue Fang's leader.
Eun Jisoo, Kim Jiwon and Lee Seolhye ran the blue fang known for instilling fear into the hearts of other students. Despite them not being the only gang in Seoli, they were the only gang that comprised of just three members.
Three members whose parents took part in the school's redevelopment, had massive influence in the society and most importantly shared a close relationship with the Choi Conglomerate.
Eun Jisoo was the only daughter of the Mayor who during his campaign for the post of Mayor, provided support to Seoli's redevelopment.
Kim Jiwon's father controlled seventy percent of the gas stations running throughout Korea while Seolhye's father ran Pyojang firms— the third ranking successful conglomerate company.
Having students with such formidable backgrounds, Seoli Highschool turned a blind eye to the formations of gangs as long as it's leader was of prominence.
They were allowed to do whatever they wanted so far they didn't commit any grave crimes and knew their limits. Besides the school's authorities received quite a massive sum of money whenever a student went overboard so eitherway, the school gained profits.
Jiwon closed the door and a soft 'click' sound could be heard.
Outside, quite a number of students had gathered curious to know what the new student with the surname Choi had done to anger the Blue Fang so much that their leader shot steams of smoke from her nose and ears.
"Did you see it too?"
"Yeah, I think that new kid is done for…"
"I wonder what she did to piss them off…"
"Right from when she said just 'Hi' when the homeroom teacher brought her in, I knew she was going to be really proud. She must've ran her mouth."
"You both are in the same class?"
"Yeah, her name was Aera or something"
"Shouldn't we inform the teachers?"
"What if something goes wrong?"
"Are you stupid or what? You want them to come after you?"
"Dont you think she's familiar?"
"Yeah…"
Meanwhile, in the restroom, Aera stood few inches away from Jisoo and the rest. "You guys wait I can ex—" she was given no time to speak. The three of them plunged forward.
Jisoo grabbed her hair. "I thought you said you wouldn't date anyone ever?"
Aera retaliated by grabbing Jisoo's hair. The both of them tugged hard. "Let me explain!"
Jiwon held her ear. "Didn't you say you wouldn't date an undergraduate?"
Aera, using her free hand manged to get a hold of Jiwon's hair. "We're not even dating yet!"
Seolhye held Aera's other ear. "We thought you had begun to see the light but little did we know that your eyes had been blinded by a thick layer of darkness. You can't see the road ahead talk more of the light."
Aera three her leg in Seolhye's direction. "What stimulant did you guys ingest for fuck's sake!" The four of them trashed around— pulling, dragging, twisting and kicking relentlessly.
"You guys are supposed to support me not fight me! Ahhhhh Jisoo careful, you might pull my scalp." Aera's eyes were rimmed red with tears.
Jisoo snorted. "We've got your back but not on this. Why bother chase someone who doesn't like you and who you wouldn't get after all these hassle? Just let him go!"
Aera landed a kick in Seolhye's direction. "Who says I won't get him? Fine, he doesn't like me now but he'll like me with time. Isn't that the essence of falling in love? I won't let go! I won't let him go eve after a thousand years. I'll like him till he likes me back!"
Seolhye and Jiwon snickered. "Are you sure about this? What if he breaks your heart?"
"What if he ends up doing worse than the rest?"
Their words suddenly halted Aera's movement. The three of them simultaneously let go of her. Aera slowly blinked.
She.. hadn't thought about that.
Jisoo sighed seeing her go silent. "You haven't thought about it have you? You might hold on to him for a thousand years or more but what if he does break your heart?"
Aera stared wordlessly at the three of them, then slowly, a small smile spread across her face. "He won't. I'm sure of it." She replied squatting on the floor.
Lee Dohyun was going to be different. She felt it from that day.
Seeing how strong-headed she was, the three of them finally gave up. " what can we do? Your mind is set already." Seolhye said.
"Keep it in mind, if he really does break your heart, I'll make sure he spends the rest of his life in the hospital. Comatose." Jisoo warned helping Aera up.
Aera smiled wyrly. She knew better than to take Jisoo's words as a joke.
She'd really do it this time.
"You guys really—" Aera spread her arms wide. "Come here."
The three of them threw themselves into her arms.
"Ahhhh— my neck fucking hurts" Aera hissed as a sharp pain coursed through her body.
"You pulled a lot on my hair Jisoo."
"Look who's complaining." Seolhye countered. "Let me see," Jisoo offered genuinely.
"Eh? Suddenly being nice?" Aera grinned showing Jisoo her 'injuries'.
"You hit me hard earlier too." Seolhye pouted. "I did?" Aera turned to check her wounds.
The four of them began nursing their self afflicted injuries.
"Have you guys had lunch yet?" Aera asked.
"No. Have you had any?" Seolhye asked back. "I did with Dohyun but after all that trashing, I feel pretty hungry." Aera rubbed her belly.
Jiwon smacked her on the shoulder. "You're one adulterous friend cheating on us with your lover."
Aera held her shoulder her cheeks flushing. "It's not like we're married already."
"You don't want me to punch you do you? Get off your fantasy and let's go." Jisoo said her face scrunching up with mild disgust. Aera hooked her arm over Jisoo neck still grinning like an idiot. "Jealous?"
Jisoo scoffed. "Jealous my foot."
The four of them walked out giggling whilst teasing Jisoo.
The students outside dispersed immediately upon seeing them emerge. Ignoring them, the four of them headed for the cafeteria. "We still have thirty minutes right?" Aera asked. "Don't talk to me." Jisso replied.
The dispersed students shared the same look of confusion on their face.
"Wasn't… how come they suddenly seem so close?"
"What in the world happened in there?"
"I still think she looks familiar…"
While they stood mummuring amongst themselves, a student however upon sighting Aera, shrieked in fear. "It-It's her" he stuttered pointing at Aera with trembling fingers.
The students nearby pulled him to a corner.
"Are you sick?" A student asked.
"Pointing at a student in the Golden tier, you must've lost your mind" Another muttered.
The student's hand clamped over his shaking hand in an attempt to stop it from shaking. "Why is she here?" He asked in a small voice as if scared she'd hear him.
"What do you mean why is she here? She's the new kid." Another said.
By now, the student had been surrounded.
"Why are you so scared? Do you know her?" They asked.
The student's legs wobbled as he gazed towards Aera's direction. "She…she almost killed a member of black poison."
The hallway resounded with sharp gasps. "You mean the scars and bruises on his body…" their voices trailed off as they stared stunned speechless at Aera's disappearing figure.
"The new kid…"
The student kept trembling. "It's certainly her. The Alley Gangster."
