Mangé followed behind Riddosh, taking a seat at the bar too, and I followed, sitting next to Mangé.
Mangé's one eye focused on the now-empty wooden stack that was once filled with bottles of drinks.
Seeing the dejected looks on all their faces, I let out a sigh.
Then, I placed my left hand on Mangé's shoulder.
"Why the sudden gloominess? We didn't come here to do this." I declared, my voice slightly high so the rest could hear.
Mangé's lips widened. A bitter smile pulling at it.
Then, he put his hand inside the inner pocket of his coat, and he brought out his chilerate.
"Mangé," I called out to him.
He didn't answer.
"I'm leaving soon, you know," I uttered, moving my neck to view Fero's and Riddosh's reactions to my words.
Fero raised his head, looking straight at me with his narrowed blue eyes.
Riddosh didn't react. Although his hands did twitch slightly.
Mangé cleared his throat.
"So," He spoke. Finally. "Sipratite, huh?"
