'Baby?!'
Adrian froze inwardly from that endearment.
He was losing his composure with this new version of Alexander: caring, sweet, soft-spoken, and loving.
It scared him greatly because he knew that it was scarier than an angry Alexander.
An angry Alexander won't hurt or threaten his heart, but this Alexander was very dangerous to his weak heart. He didn't want to let down the walls around his heart, if he did, he might get hurt again, and this time, worse than the last time.
"Does this feel good?" Alexander asked behind Adrian, his fingers every so gently massaging Adrian's shoulders and neck, threading them softly against his sensitive skin.
Adrian nodded once, not trusting his voice to answer steadily.
It felt good, too good.
Alexander stared at the side of Adrian's face as he massaged his arms, his inner voice warning him to tread carefully, since Adrian was still very injured and very angry with him.
